Pacing around the room, my heart racing like NASCAR. "What are we going to do?"
"Nothing right now. There's nothing we can do, except wait. We don't know the full picture. We don't even know if that was blood they were covered in. The hallway was dark, for crying out loud. They wouldn't hurt someone, and they wouldn't bring my 14-year-old brother into anything dangerous either. Right?!" Looking into my eyes, Lexi began to sob as the night replayed in her mind.
"You're completely right. We don't know what was on them under the cover of darkness, and no, they wouldn't do anything to harm you or your sibling. We at least know that. We need to calm down, and then we can think about this a bit more rationally. But, first, the party is still going on. We can't stay away all night, or some people might realize something's up." I coaxed Lexi to calm down.
"Yeah, you're right. Everything we saw or heard can be explained. Of course, it can." Chanting this a few times helped calm Lexi down enough. The usual bounciness is able to return in full force. She gave me her bright, beautiful smile.
"You okay now?"
"Yes, ma'am. Let's go take a few shots. We could both use it." Laughing at how true her statement was.
"Come on. We need to fix the fact that we are still sober pronto."
Deciding to leave the fear behind, but never completely able to rid ourselves of a dark foreboding feeling that now follows our every move. Like an eager predator cornering prey, it's now able to catch after a long hunt.
"Hey, gorgeous ladies, Care for a drink?" a man with a grey jacket asked, as another man walked up with two drinks in hand.
"Well, thank you. Such gentlemen." Lexi looked the men up and down without a single hint of shame, right before briefly scanning the room. The action caused me to remember her scanning the room earlier, before all that happened. Taking my cup from the man's offering hand, I decided to ask. "Who are you looking for, Lex?" Snapping her eyes back to me. "What are you talking about?"
"This is the second time I've caught you scanning the room for someone."
"Oh, ill tell you later."
The sounds of a throat clearing stop our conversation.
"Would you ladies like to dance after you finish your drinks?" They looked so excited, I couldn't help but blush and smile in response.
"Yes, we'd love to." Lexi responded as she chugged the rest of her drink. Her answer made them extremely excited. Finishing my drink, I let the man in the grey jacket lead me to the dance floor.
"Is this your house?" He asked as we started moving to the beat.
"No, it's my friend's house. The one dancing with your friend." This seemed to please him, his smile grew wider, as he decided to wrap his arms around my waist, even tho it wasn't the type of song that required it. Letting the alcohol relax my body, I eased into his embrace, laying my head on his chest. We rocked back and forth for a while, enjoying each other's company.
"Would you like to grab another drink?" Putting enough space between us to allow me to lift my head up, smiling at him as I agreed.
"Stay here, I'll be right back." he kissed my hand before walking towards the bar. A few seconds passed before Lexi ran up to me.
"Girl can you believe this?" Squealing like a weirdo, "We are both getting laid tonight!" My eyes widened in utter shock.
"Shhhh Lexi what the hell? Everyone can hear you!" Giggling like a maniac, she completely ignored me.
"Don't be a prude when he comes back, gotta go, don't want him thinking I ditched him. Byee." Just like that, she was gone again.
"Here you go, my lady."
"Thank you kind sir."
Drink up so we can dance some more before tonight is over." winking as he chugged his cup. Feeling braver than I ever have, I also chugged my cup in one go. As soon as I was done, he got rid of our cups, dragging me back to the dance floor. We danced around, having a blast for a good 10–15 minutes before the effects of the alcohol started to catch up to me. Causing me to have to go sit down.
"Are you okay?" he asked with worry in his voice. He helped steady and guide me towards the closest chair.
"Yeah, I just need a bit to catch my breath."
"Would you like to go to the restroom to wash your face with cold water? That could help." Noticing that the dizziness was getting worse, I agreed.
"Alright well I'll stay here. Let me know if you need anything, alright?"
Knowing I had no other choice at the moment. "Actually, could you help me to the restroom?" I asked nervously. He smiled before responding, "Yes."
Wrapping his arm around my waist, throwing mine over his shoulder, he guided me towards the restroom. After a few agonizingly slow minutes. We walked through a doorway. Relief filled me, knowing I was almost to that cold water.
"Here sit down slowly." He spoke softly.
I did as he said, and when I sat down, I instantly realized we weren't in a bathroom. Before I could say anything, My lightheadedness got worse as I was shoved backwards, forcing me to lie on the bed.
"What—What are you doing?" Trying to push him off of me, to no avail. I could barely stay focused. As he shoved my arms above my head with one hand, and shoved the other under my shirt, and bra, grasping my breast, I realized I had been roofied. I'm going to lose consciousness soon, and there's nothing I can do about it. I lay there crying while this man, I thought, was kind. Did as he pleased to my body. Shoving my shirt, and bra above my breast. His mouth latched onto my n****e, causing ripples to shoot through my body to my core without my permission. I cried more.
"Please someone.. someone stop this.." I cried out before he was able to cover my mouth.
Seconds later, his uninvited weight left my body. Relief filled me, Relief I wasn't sure I'd ever feel again. Tears of joy fell down my face at the sight of Aaron. I was saved.
"Aaron." I sobbed.
"It's okay. you're okay." He soothed.
"He roofied...me.." Forcing myself to try and concentrate long enough to make sure Aaron will get me to safety, I looked up, meeting his eyes. Except his eyes weren't looking at me, but they were on my breasts. Realizing they were still on full display. I weakly tried to pull my shirt down.
"NO." He commanded.
"..Aaron?" The look in his eyes was terrifying. Like he was a starved beast. Trying to get up, he walked over and held me still.
"Its okay Mir, I got you. You're safe." He tried to sound soothing, but it was terrifying.
"Aaron stop, you're being weird."
He slowly forced me back down, replacing the spot the man prior occupied.
"No, I'm not. Be quiet, don't ruin this moment for me Mir."
The relief that was there mere seconds ago was replaced with confusion, and fear.
"Aaron please, im begging you not to do this." Holding my face in his hand, he forced my unsteady eyes to look at him.
"You're mine, Mir. You always have been, always will be. This was always going to happen, get used to it. Just relax and stop fighting the roofies." He spoke as he pulled my pants off. I cried as my consciousness faded away even more. The last thing I remember was Aaron sticking his fingers inside me, my body willingly responding to his intrusion without my permission, right before he too was ripped off me by someone, and I passed out.
