What happens when a renowned doctor, and a model icon for a scandalous company come together? Chaos. The media has a field day picking apart their relationship, as rumor would have it, the up-and-coming s*x Bunny, Cami Miller, has begun her conquest for her next ex-husband; adorning the company of Doctor James Johnson, a cardiologist from the midwest. Johnson is famous for his research in inducing hypothermic cardiac arrest to remove clots from the brain, lungs and other major organs. He believes, with enough research, the FDA will approve of his techniques; in hopes of the procedure will be put into common practice.

Will the success of either of the two have a lasting impact on their relationship? As Cami rises in popularity, and James spends more time at work to practice his medicine, the tabloids might tear their relationship apart before they, themselves, could.

Chapter 1: Taking It's Toll
“Good morning,” she walked into the kitchen to see him sitting at the table. She was wearing one of his button-up dress shirts that was not so pressed anymore. He looked up at her, noticing she was wearing his shirt. The blue one she told him really complimented his eyes. “Morning,” he didn’t smile back at her, his tone of voice did not sound how it normally did when he greeted her. “Is everything alright?” She asked him as she filled a mug with creamer and coffee from the carafe. He gave a deep sigh, his annoyance was not caused by her, but the magazine in front of him, “They put another article about us in a magazine.” “Oh? What’s so wrong with it?” “Look at what magazine it’s in,” he said curtly, flipping the magazine from the article to the cover. She glanced down, chewing on the inside of her cheek a bit anxiously, seeing it was a men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine with one of her recent pictures on the cover. She was kneeling, her body facing away from the camera, her face towards it. She was wearing a pink string thong, loosely covering her bust was silk fabric of the same color in that particular shot. “What’s the article about?” She looked up at him, sipping her coffee. He rolled his eyes, “The renowned doctor of the Midwest shacking up with a pin-up gold digger. That’s the gist, the article itself is much more vulgar.” She pondered a moment, “Do you want me to reach out to them? Offer a comment from you or myself about it? Or, perhaps, we can get them for defamation?” The corner of her mouth turned into a coy smile. “No,” he sighed, “it would just add fuel to their insatiable fire.” “Aw, Jimmie, I’m sorry,” she cooed, coming over to sit in his lap. “I just don’t know what to do anymore.” “About the articles and tabloids about our relationship?” “Yes,” the edge in his voice started to turn into anger. “Hey, it’s alright, I certainly don’t care what they say. We both know I’m not with you for the money,” she flirtatiously ran her hand along his chest. “What time did you get in last night? "I heard your pager go off," She planted a light kiss on his lips. “I just got home a couple of hours ago,” he looked at her with tired eyes, the bright blue-green of his eyes looking darker with his exhaustion. “And you’re drinking coffee? Why don’t you go to bed, love, you should rest before they call you back in again.” “But then I couldn’t see you before you left,” he put his hands on her hips, rubbing her sides with his thumbs as he gave her a weak smile. “Well, I do have a few hours before I have to go into the studio,” she eyed him mischievously. “What’s say, we…get you in bed.” “Sweetheart, I’m not really in the mood, can we just lay down?” “Of course,” she stood up, leading him by the hand down the hall to their bedroom. She closed the door behind them, reaching to loosen his tie, “What did you get called in for this time?” She asked, hanging up his tie, smoothing the wrinkles with her hand. “The same patient I told you about, Amber, the one from the bus accident downtown last week? She crashed again last night, struggling to breathe, and her left lung collapsed. They needed me to biopsy the cyst they found in one of her lungs.” “Yes, I remember you telling me about her. It was her husband that died in the same accident. They were on their way home from the bar, right?” “That’s the one, poor bastard had a metal pipe in one of his legs. Severed his femoral artery and bled out before the paramedics could even get to him.” She sat down in bed, patting the spot next to her to invite her partner to lay next to her, “Has she even ben conscious enough to know of his passing?” She continued to talk as James got into bed next to her. He sighed with contentment as his head lay on the pillow, “We’ve been keeping her stable, but she’s still out of it. Too much fluid built up in her brain, and we’ve already released some of the pressure once. We’re not quite sure if she’s brain-dead yet, but we’ll do what we can until her family decides what to do, or she inevitably dies on her own.” “Hm, sad,” though her tone of voice did not sound empathetic, she was. She was so used to him talking about tragedy from his work, she was almost becoming desensitized to it. “What would you do if that were me?” “Cami, I don’t want to think about that right now, can we please just rest?” He snapped tiredly, putting his arm around her to pull her close to him. “I’m sorry, just relax baby, I’ll stay until you fall asleep.” “What about work?” he mumbled, starting to give into his exhaustion. “They can’t start without me, so they’ll just have to wait.” “Mm hm.” She played with his hair, gently pulling the graying dark brown strands with her fingers, until she felt his body relax, and heard him start to snore softly. She kissed his head softly before carefully slipping from his grasp and out of bed. It didn’t take him as long to fall asleep as she thought, it must have been an exhausting night for him. She still had over an hour before she was due across town, and decided to finish her coffee and take a look at the article James was so up in arms about. Perching her reading glasses on her nose, she flipped to the page the article was on. In large, bold and eye-catching lettering, the title reads: s*x Bunny Cami Miller and famous Midwest doctor James Johnson co-habit. Rumor has it, up-and-coming s*x Bunny, Cami Miller, has begun her conquest for her next ex-husband, adorning the company of Doctor James Johnson, a cardiologist. Johnson is famous for his research into inducing hypothermic cardiac arrest to remove clots from the brain, lungs and other major organs. He believes, with enough research, the FDA will approve of his techniques, in hopes that the procedure will be put into common practice. Has the heart doctor’s heart been stolen by the newest s*x Bunny icon? With an age difference of almost 10 years, and coming from two different worlds, it isn’t hard to speculate why the two are with each other. In October of last year, Miller’s ex-husband announced their divorce after 7 years of marriage. "It was the death of a dream. No one goes into a marriage thinking it will end, but it does,” Roberts had said, referring to their divorce. Miller responded with, “It’s heartbreaking to go through that, you know?” Could the s*x Bunny be falling into romance, or rolling in the dough of her new beau? Shocking photos have emerged of the two displaying their lovey-dovey behavior while having a steamy night out on the town. “Vulgar indeed,” she said to herself, not wanting to continue to read the article or look at the pictures that had been taken of them. Printed for the masses to put her personal life on display. Trying not to let it bother her, she continued with her morning. Taking a moment to wash the few dishes by the sink from James’ breakfast, and her coffee mug before dressing business-casual to go into the studio to get dolled up for her next photo shoot as a semi-famous s*x Bunny.
