After spending one more night at the hospital , the doctor informed me that I was fine and called mom to explain that I was to be discharged in the morning.

I was a little happy that I was going to be released in this place.

I hate hospitals , mainly the smell of disinfectants .

I heard the bathroom door open and I smiled seeing my brother in his tired state coming out from there .

you made me sleep here and I am not sure if I will be going to the office today , he groaned and sighed as he sit on one of the chairs .

Sorry .. I mumbled with a giggle in which he pinched my nose. Don't worry darling, work means nothing more than you .

you are my little flower , my little birdie and you are worth every minute I spend with you .

you talk alot David ,but thank you .

I mumbled shyly and stood up giving him a bear hug .

come let's eat before mom barges in,you know how she can be ?

I asked and he shrugged his shoulders in response .

He poured some tea on my cup and coffee in his and put pancakes on my plate and his .

That's why I love you so much Davy , No I don't !! he chirped rising one of his eyebrow.

I pout and looked at his smirked face , I know you hate hospital foods that's why you had to tell somebody to bring us both breakfast .

Which means you love me or else you would'nt share your food with me .

He chuckled and pinched my cheek ,

Stop .. my nose is still in pain, you don't want to make me bleed don't you, ?

He laughed out loud and pinched my other cheek again, " when are you going to stop being cute Sofia ?"

I rolled my eyes and ignored his comments ,

After few minutes of still having our breakfast , mom barged in .

"And what in the hell are you doing here David , ? " I almost spill my tea on the fresh yellow sun dress that I was in .

"Aren't you supposed to be at work ? "

"mom stop ! "David hissed bitterly ,

Between him and Tony, he is the only one that talks back to mom and gets angry every time they speak .

Don't tell me to stop, I want you to stand up and march outside right this instant , Sofia is not a little girl anymore. she doesn't need any guards ,

She firmly stated and averted her gaze on me .

Morning mom, I whispered but she didn't reply .

David didn't listen to her as he kept on drinking his tea and said out loud , "you are hurting my ears old woman ! "

I nearly gasped but masked it by drinking the hot tea not caring that it could burn my tongue.

He has the nerve of disrespecting mom, Isn't he afraid of her guts ? well I better keep it shut or else I would also get mixed in their argument .

And you Sofia ,

I spill the tea on my dress shrieking with a little fright, ..

"I .. umm , yes mom ?" I replied and stood up abruptly as the tea burnt my lap .

What are you doing, ? My goodness ,

She yelled out and pointed at my dress that was spoiled ,not really spoiled but wet .

How are you going to walk with me wearing that ? My god !! She gritted out annoyed .

I ..

shut up Sofia , And come with me right this instance ,

But I haven't finished my breakfast mommy .

I don't care, come with me right now .Since David wanted to have breakfast in the hospital let him be , because you are leaving .

No she isn't going anywhere .. David interfered angstly and hold my hand .

Stop David , Don't make her mad .. I whispered looking at the floor ,

Sit.. David ordered but I couldn't as mom glared at me ,

" I . I am going with mom, "I am sorry .. I huffed out apologetically.

He left my hand and I walked to mom Silently following like a puppy.

I wonder , does every mom behave this way towards their children? I just ..

"Walk straight ..." Mom whispered out of nowhere as we walked to the exit .

Mom's driver Paulo opened our door and we entered ,

"To the salon ..'' mom ordered making me frown,

why ?I blurted out .

That doesn't concern you Sofia , shut up.. you have already ruined my day don't make me lash out my anger on you anymore .

But I did nothing, ! it was David !!

I wanted to tell her so bad but zipped my mouth and looked at the window .

Few minutes later ,Paul opened our doors and we entered into a spa .

This is not my first time here , but I don't like it and I can't change the fact that my mom is incharge of every thing that concerns me .

She held my hand and a small smile tugged on my face as we walked side by side,

I love these small gestures that she rarely shares with me , she doesn't know but it feels wonderful and I feel giddy inside.

We walked inside and that's when I saw a familiar woman ,

Sofia darling .. you are here ..

The sweet woman says the moment she saw me.

I smiled lightly and shyly gave her a hug .

You look beautiful as usual even though you have that little wound on your nose .she teased ,

"Thank you Mrs Thompson ." I replied ,

oh shush darling .. We will soon be family ..call me mom .

Soon be family?But we are family ??

I nod lightly with a smile .

Mrs Edina ,I will see you later . Mom tells the older woman who looked classy and beautiful but her face shows a little bit of aging ,

I followed where mom is going .

She left me on my own shortly after I was taken by one of the staff, The treatment started .

They washed my hair, which I mostly loved about all this , but the others like getting nail's done , waxed ,and bla bla ..

I don't like them ,I usually have a head ache after spa . Believe it or not,

After my hair is done , they did my nails and I chose milky nail polish, I was over the moon when I heard I wasn't going to get waxed becuase I had no hair on my body.

After a few hours my hair was styled , I wondered what's the occasion as I wasn't told anything .

I look myself on the mirror and saw that my red nose has some little marks here and there ,but the pain inside is still there but not intense.

Miss, please .. The Woman said respectfully and I couldn't understand her what she meant ,

She bent her head and touched my nose ,

"what's the matter ? "I asked and was on my feet with a dissatisfied expression .

I am so sorry if I caused any pain, but these were orders of your mom to take the bandage off so that we could do your make up .

"Make up ? "

what for?

I am not doing any make up, my nose is still recovering . I argued back .

She nod her head not saying a thing and left me alone in the room,

I wonder what time is it,I am hungry and I was forced to be here .

I couldn't even cry as I was frustrated , I looked at my brown weavy hair and it looked really pretty , The strands laid just on my chest , and it was pulled in a small bun and plaited at the end.

I saw a watch just when my eyes left the mirror , it was beside a table .I didn't know it was in the early hours of the afternoon .

Time flies fast .

My thoughts were interrupted when i heard the opening of the door ,

Sofia !!
