"Please," I begged him. "Please come back to me."
I felt his body trembling beneath mine and I could somehow tell that he was fighting his own self to regain control over his body.
"I'm okay now Daemon." I repeated, hoping that the more I said it, the faster he would come back to me. I gently rubbed my hand down his back, trying any and everything to calm him down. The fact that he was fighting to return to me made it hard to breathe, I could feel my eyes begin to water. "I'm okay." I whispered once more.
It was when the first tear dropped onto his skin did I feel him wrap his arms around me as he completely encircled me in his warm embrace.
"Aella," he whispered as he held me tighter against him. "My sweet Aella."
I felt my heart skip a beat at hearing his beautiful voice again.
