Prologue.
Life was a blur right now, as I ran to my friends office in a breathless state. If I hadn't been wearing my cardigan I am sure you could see the sweat stains underneath my arm. "Elena? My co-worker Maria looked up from her desk with a confused face as to why her friend was out of breath.
"I am going to be Tom Holland's assistant!" I couldn't help but cheer at the thought of starting in just a few hours time. This company has heard so many good things about this man and who didn't want to work with someone who seemed that kind. All fans say they have a positive vibe when they come into contact with Tom.
Maria smiled as she leaned back into her chair and began blowing on her nails. "You're welcome" Now it was my turn to give her the look of confusion. "I had to fight tooth and nail so you got that job out of three other girls. I personally contacted his old assistant to make sure to give you the good word and Tom personally picked you. His assistant emailed us last night. Now, instead of staying here, I'd suggest maybe getting ready and going for your first few hours." I couldn't help but nod trying to fully form the sentence she said to me. Before turning she piped up once more. "And Elena," stopping I listened for a moment. "Don't sleep with him."
Driving to Tom's house I couldn't help but admire where he was staying. He was staying in LA for a few months while they filmed. I was so excited and nervous for the first proper time meeting Tom, usually they start you off simple like getting them some coffee or some food. Stepping up the step I took a deep breath as I felt my nerves starting to pick up. Smoothing out skirt and red blouse I nodded to myself before bringing my hand to ring the doorbell. A few moment had passed and the door swung open to reveal a Tom who seemed confused as I was earlier. "I don't accept fans at the door." Where the first words out of his mouth.
My smile dropped as I shook my head. "No, Sir. I am Elena, your new assistant." His eyes widened a bit. "Did I come at a bad time?"
Tom shook his head. "No, come in." Mumbling he let me past. My heels tapping against the marble floor as I entered the home. It was beautiful, this whole house is worth more then my entire life and he owned it. "Can you take your heels off, I have someone asleep in the next room."
"Of course." Quickly the heels were off and my feet were starting to feel the marble as it remained cool.
"I thought you wouldn't be here until tomorrow?" he raised a brow.
Before I could get any words out, a women from the next room appeared her brunette hair messy as if running hands through It non-stop. She looked like a model honestly. "Tom, who's this?" she crossed her arms as she pulled I am getting his shirt closer to her almost bare body.
He let out a sigh. "This is Elena."
"You must be a girlfriend?" I asked, if she was I needed to assist her as well.
They both laughed. "God no. I am just a good time, he gives me attention, I get a good night." She snorted
A part of me wanted to scream but I remained calm. Tom scratched the back of his head. "Right, Lola, why not get dressed and be on your way? Elena, I have some clothes that need to ironed." It felt like my first day was already something.
