Chapter 49

"But how did it happened Mathew, if really this locket had that much powers ?", Clara asked

"I don't know, ok look into my pendant every one ", Mathew said and again shows the pendant towards the sky and a protection layer was formed surrounding them even insects or warms also could not enter into the protection layer. 

Every one observed the changes happened over there and trusted the pendant so much that even their would not trust their own ability by themselves . . .

"OK, by now every one had faith on me and my pendant right. So move forward now and be closer to me always, don't go any where far from me other wise I could save you ", Mathew said and every one moved  forward with new hopes and having trust on Mathew and the pendant over his neck . . .

Every one moving and moving still the destination is not reaching and they were not able to cross the Island too as some black magic was dominating them and because of that the pendant in his neck was not showing any dangers to Mathew and the golden rays are not occurring over the pendant and on the Mathew . . . Mathew is thinking about the danger in front of them that he can feel it as he saw some thing unclear that some thing big was coming on their way . . .

"Listen carefully every one, now we have to run some thing big is coming on our way ", Mathew said by closing his eyes and stood still like a statue . . .

"Mathew . . Mathew what happened to you, come to realm ", Clara shouting and calling him by giving jerks to him as he was going into another world when ever the golden rays occupying him and the pendant . . .

But she got a doubt that now no golden rays were occupied him and the pendant is not working in the Island, but how could he see the danger in him ? . . .

"Mathew . . Mathew . . . are you ok ?", Mack asked this type

"Yeah I am ok ", said Mathew by taking some rest and gathering his energy back from the pendant on his neck by sitting on a rock which is beside them . . .

All of a sudden Mathew stood up and became alert for some thing and the others were watching him carefully as they could not understand what was happening to him and what he is going to do now . . . 

Suddenly ground under them started shaking slightly and they wondered what it is, thinking that it was an earth quake. The earth quake under their feet became even more greater and greater and every one stunned their by looking to the earth quake. . . Suddenly the earth splits in two from a far distance very fast with in fraction of seconds while every one looking into it. 

"Come on run ", Mathew shouted on others

Every one running very fast to escape from the earth quake, even there were running fast, the earth quake coming very quicker and quicker more than the speed of the Mathew's team . . .

"Is there any other way to escape Mathew ?", Mr. Richard asked

"We could not do any thing right now except running at present because this is not a ghost or monster to save us ", Mathew said

"Keep running guys ", Mack said and every one continuously running to keep escape from the earth quake

But the earth quake was becoming heavy and almost closer and threatening them that almost they would die. Almost after running in the island for 1 hour with out break they almost reached the end of the it and Mathew encouraged them more to keep running as we almost reached our destination . . .

By the encouragement every one continued running even though they were restless, tired and getting weariness to all of them and not even run more due to the weariness . . .

Mr. Benjamin, Mr. Richard, Clara and Jean suddenly stopped running as they could not run any more . . .

"No you can not stop like that, we are almost near run run . . . Mack you grab Mr. Benjamin and cross this Island. I will hold Clara and Mr. Richard to help them run and cross this island ", Mathew said

"Ok Mathew, I will do it ", Mack said and grabbed Mr. Benjamin's hand and started running towards the destination

Mathew then hold Clara from his right hand and with the other hand he hold Mr. Richard and started running towards the destination and had a big goal is that to cross the Island as fast as they can . . .

Every one runs very hardly and with great difficulty they reached the end of the Island and they saw a lot of skeletons and scattered pieces of the skeleton every where and they thought that the humans who reached till here were dead by some reason . . .

"Why the skeletons appeared here and why these people were lie dead here ?", Clara asked

"May be some more dangers are waiting for us here I think so ", Mathew said

"O my god, more dangers ", Clara said and felt anxiety

"Yes, I think so and we all should be very alert until then we reached the temple ", Mathew said

"What if we reached the temple, means there would be no dangers from then onwards ?", Mack asked

"I don't know that exactly, but expecting the same and I could not tell you that there are no more dangers when we reach the temple. Let's wait and see what happens when we reach the destination ", Mathew said with taking long breath.

All of a sudden Jean feared of some thing and she screamed very loudly. By so every one sighed at once and looked at her by with out knowing any thing what happened to her . . .

"What . . . what happened Jean ?", Jack asked

"I . . . I saw some thing over there and it is very horrible to see it ", Jean said

"Can you explain it what it is ?", Mathew asked

"I have not seen it properly but I think it is very dangerous ", Jean said

"Ok, no problem just leave it and be calm ", Mathew said

"Ok ", Jean said

"Ok now every one keep moving forward and be brave ", Mathew said

Suddenly they heard a loud voice of some thing that a group of animals are running towards them and every one feared that what are those and keep looking to the side what is coming towards them. Full of dust raised on the air by the force of those running and Mathew and his team were shocked to see that what is going to happen in the next moment with lot of fear in their minds and on their hearts . . .

Suddenly those animals stopped at a certain place and the dust over there slowly dropping on the ground and one of it came forward towards them very slowly as a fox. Every one looking into it very carefully and it came more closer and it was horrible to see the body of it as it looks like a half wolf and half human having a long hair, very strong body, muscular hands with sharp nails and with those nails any thing can be torn into two or more pieces that means that much of sharp nails and it was looking very powerful and dangerous . . .

"Ooooo myyyy Goddddd ", Clara and Jean said both at once

"Come on run ", Benjamin said

"No . . . no don't run, it may kill us if we run ", Mathew said

"Then what we should do now ?", Mr. Richard asked

"Wait for a while, we will see. If we run also we can easily be found to them, look at it once how strong and if it runs then only with simple two steps it drag us and kills us within a fraction is seconds. So please don't do any thing risky and more over don't run any where ", Mathew said

"Ok then tell me what have to do now ?", Mr. Richard asked

"Please wait for my instructions I will plan some thing ", Mathew said

"Mathew why can't you use your pendant now as of like it saved us from the dinosaur's ", Clara said

"Yes, that's a great idea, but I don't know whether it works or not will try it for sure ", Mathew said

Mathew then hold his pendant with his right hand and showed it to the sky and unfortunately it was not worked and nothing happened that means no protection layer came to protect them . . .

"What happened Mathew, why it was not working now ?", Clara asked

"I don't know wait I will try it again ", Mathew said

"Come on Mathew do it some thing. We are at high risk now and we can loose our life's too. Come on you can do it ", Mack said

"Ok ok wait ", Mathew said and again tried it by showing the pendant over to the sky. Nothing happened again and the wolf like creature coming towards them more and more closer so that every one heart beat can hear themselves each of them due to the fear . . 

"What happened, why it is not working. Whether it works only for few times only ?", Benjamin said

"Or else the pendant's magic was dominating by the wolf like creature ?", Jack said

"Me too not understanding any thing ", Mathew said and looked upwards towards the sky to pray for god to help them at this hard situation. While he saw the sky he came to know that there is no sky on the above where they stood as the whole area was covering by a large tree with out having place to peep through to the sky . . .

"What do we do now Mathew ?", Mr. Richard asked with anxiety 

"I found out why that pendant was not working ", Mathew said with confidence

"Why ?", Every one asked at once

"Look at the sky once ", Mathew said

Every one then saw towards the sky and no one can found the sky except the branches of the tree and they all looked at his face that they did not get any thing and why he asked them to look into the sky and the same were asked to him . . . .

"My dear team members, this pendant will work only if I show it to the sky. Don't you remember that ", Mathew asked

Every one then shocked to hear that and realized the fact, but there is no sky in the long distance from the place where they were standing right now and they looked at Mathew's face with great confusion on their faces that now how can they escape from there and how to run from the place to the visible of the sky by alive . . .
