8. Megan meet aunt Tess

Jason's POV.

Classes passed very quickly and as we all know, this is my first time to tutor Megan.

Yeah, wish me luck.

She will be coming later in the evening.

Dan dropped me home after I threatened to destroy him. Haha I wish. He just dropped me off saying he had pity on me and I should tell him everything tomorrow at school.

Yeah, talk about girls and gossip more like boys and gossip.

You see that joke.

It's not funny?

Pfff, just forget it.

Anyways, at home, grandma left a letter that says she has gone to her friend's, yes Mina. Aunt Tess will be coming by later in the evening.

I know you must be asking. A letter?.

Yes a letter. I don't have a phone.

Before you laugh. Grandma promised me one for my eighteenth birthday this year. May 7th.

That is in one month from now.

Of course I know how to operate a phone, grandma doesn't use her phone that much, so I use it most of the time.

Being a nerd I am. I already estimated aunt Tess to be here at around 5 to 6.

So she would see Megan here if things go well.

After taking a shower and putting on a sweatshirt and a black shorts. I stood by the mirror to brush my hair. My hair was always frizzy but I still try to make it neat. Dan always says am charming with my brown eyes but I still doubt it.

I ordered pizza, made nachos and bought some chocolate milk.

What? We are not going to sit for hours writing and reading without a break.

In as much I love reading, I don't think Megan do too. And I need to fulfill my stomach desires. After arranging the snacks on the living room table. I started bringing the books. It was not much though just some textbooks and notes. Megan suggested we do our homework too, so I was added my assignments as well.

When I was done I crossed check everything and checked the time. 4:20.

We agreed 4:30

Just to while away time I watched TV.

I had to retrain myself from doing my assignments at school and at home. It's a nerd thing. If I do it now it will only take a few minutes and I will be done. It wouldn't be fair to let Megan do her homework later when i have already done mine.

At exactly 4:30 . I heard some car noise at the driveway. Wow! She is punctual. Surprising. I stood up and open the door.

"Hello there". Megan said with a small smile.

"Hi". I said letting her in and closing the door behind me. Now that I look at her she was putting on a black and white stripes tank top with a knee length denim shorts.

She looks kinda cute.

"So.....". She cuts off my train of thoughts. She had caught me checking her out. She was smiling.

"emmm......... I... In the living room". I point towards the living room with a tint of embarrassment in my face.

God. Why do I like to embarrass myself?. I seriously need help.

We both sit on the couch opposite each other. She brought a few books from the black bag she carried along with her.

I decided to start with the basics. I ask a few questions and she answered a few. Well a least she knows something. That's a good start.

Before now I had decided to start with topic after topic. It will be more understandable.

Megan is not the first person I had tutor in biology or any other subjects. I had been assigned to teach some students before being a nerd and all.

Some will actually listen and improve while others will play it off and sometimes end up threatening me to do their homework for them.

That's my state of bullying.

So anyways I will be starting off with genetics and variation. I have certain reasons:

*My rule of topic after topic

*The topic will be treated in class very soon so that Megan will understand it more.

So let the tutoring begin.

Megan's POV

I did a brief glance at him, his sense of dressing wasn't bad at all.

He looks kinda cute.

Megan you just said a boy is cute. What is he doing to me?

This is so unlike you.

I quickly shake my train of thoughts away and I caught Jason checking me out. Thanks goodness I caught him not the other way round.

"So....." I couldn't help but smile when I saw the tint of embarrassment in his face. He looks charming with his brown eyes.

Megan stop it.

"emmmm.......I....in the living room" he said trying to avoid my eyes.

I don't need to embarrass him more than that, so I walked to the living room and sit on the couch. Same as before.

Three brown couches at the middle of the living room facing each other like in a semi circle then the mini plasma tv completing the circle. A Glass table at the middle with an artificial flower on top. It gives a vibe of comfort and peace.

He started with some questions questions and I answer a few.

Am not really that blank in biology, I know some basics.

He started with genetics and variation. I must say he is so damn good in biology. Perhaps all subjects since he is a nerd.

I asked some questions and he answers in a beat. Like I said before am gonna stick with him for a while.

Never thought I would ever say this but we were into the tutoring that I lost knowledge of the time. He made it sound so f*****g easy.

But then after I don't know minutes, hours I felt the need to use the bathroom.

"Where is the bathroom?" I ask standing up.

"Down the hallway by your right" he said pointing to the hallway behind me.

I walk down the hallway and to the bathroom. When I was done, I head back to the living room.

I saw Jason and some lady hugging so tight, they were both smiling widely and calling each other sweet names like darling, cupcake, sweet heart and that s**t.

I felt a pang of something in my chest. I hope it's not what I think it is.

Oh no. Jealousy.

Dammit. I thought my heart was caged. Am entering the danger zone.

Fucking hell no. Feelings.

.............. My nerd?..............................?

Aunt Tess is here. I bet she's going to bring a lot of sweeties for this book.
