Relief rippled through Joe. He watched as Chelsie processed the information he had just given her. The light they were sitting at turned green, not giving him the opportunity to see if she would finally put the pieces together that she was his mate. Surely she would realize it. Everything between them since the moment they had met had been fueled by the strength of their mate bond.
She remained quite while he drove them to the compound. He knew his time was up when it came to keeping her a secret from the clan. They would be able to tell as soon as they saw them together, if Rocky hadn’t already told everyone.
