It took Joe several minutes before he was able to access the clan’s secure server from Cecil’s computer. Once he was in there and found the men’s background checks, he printed them out. Quietly he handed Chelsie a copy and kept the second set of print offs for himself. They both settled in and started going through each man’s information.
They hadn’t been in the office long when Dru called for the first check in. The death toll had risen to thirteen since the morning count. So far, the clan was hitting dead ends with the witnesses. Everyone was scared and clamming up when they should have been shouting out names and information from the rooftops. If they didn’t, drug users would continue to die while the dealers continued to line their pockets with blood money.
