Fallen

I am now sitting and watching the humans minding their own business. While watching them I have so many questions in my mind like ‘what if I was like them?' , ‘what does it feel to be a human?' , ‘what does it feel of you love a human?', I am in the middle of asking myself when suddenly my friend came, Seraphina. ‘Thinking of something? What is it? Tell me!' she said cheerfully, so I look at her, Seraphina and I have been together since birth, she knows everything about me and of course I know everything about her, she knows it when I have a problem and she is always there for me. She is my best buddy and she was like a sister to me. ‘Nothing' I say, and stared back at the humans who are working very hard ‘No way, you aren't thinking what I am thinking right now, right?’ she nervously asked. I slightly laughed at what she said. ‘Why? What are you thinking right now?' I asked playfully ‘I am thinking that you wanted to go into the human world and live with them,' she said while looking at me suspiciously. And with that I burst out laughing. ‘Why are you laughing, Evangeline!? Am I right?' she panickly asked ‘You know what, Seraphina? I think we are connected,' I say ‘Why?' she asked confuciously ‘Because you always know what I'm thinking.' I said ‘Do I?' I nodded for response 'Oh well back to the topic, were you really thinking about it?' she asked while hoping for me to say no. 'No,' she sighed in relief 'But I am just wondering about it' I casually said. 'Evangeline, it's better to stay it right there, humans life is so complicated and I am telling you, you won't like it. Don't let your curiousity eat you up.' I didn't answer her and just gave a slight smile, she nodded and stood up 'I have to go' I nodded at her 'Please, Evangeline, stop thinking about it. It is against our rules and I don't want you to get into trouble, so please listen to me. Wonder around and make yourself busy so you can forget about it, understand?' I once again nodded at her, after that she left. I sighed and stared back at the humans. How come their lives are complicated? 'Stop it, Evangeline!' I scolded at myself. I shooked my head and erase the thoughts that is coming in my mind before I stood up. For the past few days, I let myself be busy just like what Seraphina said but it doesn't help because I keep thinking about it in the past few days. 'That's it! I will go to the humans world!' I thought with the finality of it 'I know it is against our rules but my curiousity is killing me! I am ready ready to face the consequences for it!' And with that I immediately run into my chamber to get ready. I know he and Seraphina will be mad at me. I am currently preparing when suddenly the door of my chamber opened. I immediately hide the thing that I prepared. 'Seraphina!' I called her 'Why are you here?' i asked while trying to hide the nervousness. 'Are you okay? You look pale?' she worriedly asked 'Yes, I'm okay!' I smiled to her 'So, why are you here again?' i asked once again 'Well, I just felt something isn't right and I suddenly thought of you' I stiffened at what she said 'Are you sure you're alright?' 'Yes, of course, I am more than okay!' I tried to make my voice more cheerful so she will believe 'I'm sorry, Seraphina!' I thought Seraphina stood up and went to the door. 'Okay, I'll leave now! Just stay here, okay' I nodded at her and with that she slowly close the door. I breathe heavily and lay down in my bed. I stared where my things is hidden, to be honest, I feel guilty towards Seraphina. All she wanted was for me not to get into a trouble but look at me now I am planning to leave later. I'm in my deep thoughts and I didn't notice I fell asleep. 'It's time!' and there I feel the excitement filled my body. I grabbed my things and slowly opened the door. I checked the hallway if someone is there but the coast is clear. I tiptoed and making sure that I won't make any noise. I was about to turn left when I suddenly heard someone talking. I hurriedly hid my self and patiently waited for them to leave, it was just a short talk for but for me it was like a years. Finally, they leaved! I am now walking faster than before but making sure that it is silent. I was so happy when I saw the door that will lead me outside. I was walking towards it when suddenly- 'Evangeline?' i felt my body stiffened when I heard that voice. I turned around and saw her. 'Seraphina' I managed to say it even though I feel like there is a big lump on my throath. 'Where are you going?' she asked with her one eyebrow raised. I bowed my head as if I was a kid caught by her mother. 'You are going there, aren't you?' she asked 'I am sorry, Seraphina, but this is what I want!' I said 'I know' I raised my head and looked at her in disbelief 'You know?' i asked 'Of course, we are connected, right? And I know you very well, Evangeline, if you want something you won't stop until you get it' she said while smiling. I ran into her and hugged her before I started crying. 'I am sorry, Seraphine. Will you let me?' I asked and that made her laughed. 'As if I could do something. You are already ready. Just take care of yourself, Evangeline.' she said while wiping my tears away. I nodded at her in response. 'Go now. Before someone will saw you here.' I hugged her once again and then I ran towards the door. I turned around once again and waved at her then she waved her hands back. 'Wait for me humans world!'
