Far From My World

Hi, my name is Nelly Wyllson and I'm 21 years old . This is a story of how I got into college. On the day I was to leave home for college, mum was in my room getting me prepared for the day's journey. I have two big brothers named Eric whom is the eldest and gentle one while Scott is the troublesome one . He always gets on my nerves . this is how I went to college. * In my room* Mrs Yasmine: dear , are you really sure you are done packing up your clothes. Nelly: sure mum , I've packed all the necessary things I think I will need . Mrs Yasmine: okay. if you say so guess I don't need to check your things then . Nelly ( about to leave the room) Mrs Yasmine: ( calls her ) Nelly Nelly; ( sits on her bed ) yes mum Mrs Yasmine: I want you to know that you are going to another different world . it's different from our own world (pause) Nelly: ( smiles) mum, I'd ont understand where this conversation is heading too. Mrs Yasmine: see, you just left high sch6 and now you are going to college. High school is really a small world because you don't have to stay in school, you can even knw who is who but in college it's really different, it's a place where you will meet different kind of people with different lifestyle and no one to control them. so promise me you won't florick with bad friends and forever be the Nelly I raised . Nelly: (smiles) mum I promise you I will alw6be the girl you raised but you promise me you won't think about dad while I'm gone . Mrs Yasmine: it's a promise. ( hugs her ) Nelly: ( refrains from the hug) mum I'll miss you so much . Mrs Yasmine: I'll miss you more darling . it's time to meet your brothers downstairs. Nelly:( goes downstairs to meet her brothers while her mum puts her luggages in the car ) Eric: món- beauté (meaning my beauty) I'm gonna miss you . Nelly : big bro I'm gonna miss you as well ( hugs him) Scott: ( grins )hmmmm... looks like someone's not gonna miss me . Nelly: ( refrains from her hug with Eric ) yeah I'm not gonna miss .. (laughs ) Scott: ehhheeeww .. it's seems like my lil sis won't even miss me . Nelly:( laughs ) Scott the truth is that I'm really gonna miss you amd your troubles . Scott: I know my little sis will miss, even if I'm a pest in her life ( pats her on head) Nelly: family hug (they all hug each other ) Mrs Yasmine: Nelly !!! it's time to go . Nelly: ( about to leave ) Eric: Nelly ! wait ( pecks her on her cheek) Nelly: ( enters the car and zooms off)
