Story of Bethany

Bethany was born in 1380 in a town in Germany.She was the only daughter of Maria and Stephen.Stephen was a scholar and Maria was a housewife but she had huge interest in sewing.But at that time women were not respected and treated properly.They were not given education and opportunities.But Stephen was a wise man.They both loved Bethany a lot and wanted best for her. When Bethany started to grow she showed her interest in painting.Their house was huge and there was a waterfall near their house and small Bethany used to go there with her mother and sit there for hours and painted birds,leaves and flowers.From childhood only Bethany was in love with nature.Maria and Stephan always encouraged their daughter to draw new new things and learn more..When Bethany grew up that time Stephen decided to make Bethany educated which was next to impossible at that time at that situation.The king only allowed the boys of the noble families to teach and as Bethany's father Stephan was a scholar at king's court so he also has a chance to educate his son.So Stephen decided to dress Bethany like a boy they would send her to school.So Bethany was dressed as a boy and her name was given Robin and she was sent to the royal school.She had a friend Rosemary who was their neighbour who was a bit poor and she couldnot go to royal school but Bethany always treated her like a sister and used to teach her.At that time painting was practised in the schools and Bethany as Robin got a lots of medals and awards in her school for her outstanding performance.Slowly slowly Bethany grew up and she made a garden of flowers infront of their house which was full of beautiful and colourful flowers ,fruits and butterflies.She used to sit there for hours and drew the nature...But soon came a turn in the events and painting became a prohibited terror in their kingdom..
