In the ruthless kingdom of Ostreon, power is everything—and King Evander will stop at nothing to secure it. Feared throughout the realm for his cold heart and iron-fisted rule, Evander becomes obsessed with a legend whispered among werewolves: the Eclipse Wolves, an ancient bloodline capable of wielding unimaginable power. Convinced that claiming an Eclipse Wolf as his Luna will grant him the ability to absorb the strengths of others and cement his reign forever, he sets his sights on the last surviving heir of the bloodline.

Lyanna has spent her life hiding in the shadows. Raised by her protective aunt, Eleanor, she grows up knowing only fragments of her heritage while dreaming of restoring her people’s lost honor. Freedom—not love—is all she desires. But when a desperate act exposes her abilities before the royal court, she becomes the very thing Evander has been searching for.

Taken to the palace as a prisoner rather than a partner, Lyanna finds herself trapped in a dangerous game of politics, betrayal, and ambition. As Evander publicly names her his Luna, destroying a powerful alliance with the dangerously obsessed Selene Voss, enemies begin gathering in the darkness. His jealous brother, Cassius Valerius, joins forces with Selene and the ruthless rogue Alpha Viktor Blackmoor, each determined to use Lyanna’s power for their own ends and bring down the crown.

While palace conspiracies threaten to tear the kingdom apart, an unexpected bond begins to form between king and captive. Beneath Evander’s ruthless exterior, genuine feelings emerge—feelings his loyal Beta, Lucian Draven, recognizes long before the king himself. For Lyanna, the line between enemy and protector becomes increasingly blurred as she learns the difference between being owned and being chosen.

But the greatest revelation lies buried in the past. Lyanna discovers that the Eclipse Wolves were never monsters to be feared—they were the rightful guardians of werewolf society, gifted with the power to strip corruption from those who abused their authority. Even more shocking is the truth about her aunt’s deception: Eleanor knowingly concealed the full extent of Lyanna’s destiny, believing secrecy would protect her, only to lead her directly into captivity.

As rebellion erupts across Ostreon and the kingdom descends into chaos, Lyanna and Evander must decide whether trust is stronger than betrayal. When the truth of Evander’s original intentions comes to light—that he sought her power before he ever cared for her—the fragile love they’ve built is pushed to its breaking point.

With enemies closing in from every side, a final battle engulfs the palace. Standing together against traitors, rogue Alphas, and a corrupt ruling council, Lyanna embraces her true inheritance and unleashes the devastating force of the Eclipse Heart. The power that once nearly destroyed her bloodline becomes the weapon that shatters the old order forever.

In the aftermath, Ostreon rises from the ashes transformed. Together, Evander and Lyanna rebuild a kingdom founded on balance rather than fear, proving that even the deepest wounds can heal. Yet their victory is only the beginning. When their daughter, Aurelia Valerius, is born carrying an even greater version of the legendary Eclipse power, it becomes clear that the future holds challenges—and possibilities—far beyond anything they have yet faced.

The Hunted Bloodline
The air beneath the pack estate always felt colder when I arrived, as if even the stones remembered what was buried beneath them. I moved silently through the narrow stairwell hidden behind the old storage hall, my fingers grazing the rough wall as I descended deeper into the forbidden archive. No one came here anymore—at least, no one who wanted to stay alive long enough to regret it. The Eclipse Wolves weren’t spoken of in my pack, not even in whispers. But silence never truly meant absence; it only whispered of fear. And I had grown up surrounded by that fear. I pulled my cloak tighter as I reached the lower chamber. Dust hung in the air like suspended memory, thick and untouched. Rows of ancient stone shelves stretched across the room, filled with cracked tablets, burned scrolls, and sealed records that no one had dared open in decades. I wasn’t supposed to be here. If anyone discovered me in this place, I would be dragged before the Alpha before sunrise. But I had stopped caring about permission the day I learned my name meant nothing in this world. I ran my fingers across the stone until I found the mark carved into the lowest shelf: a crescent wrapped in fractured light. The Eclipse symbol. My pulse quickened as I pressed my palm against it. A hidden panel shifted, releasing a sealed compartment I had discovered weeks ago. Inside lay a single worn document wrapped in black leather. My breath caught as I pulled it out. This was it—the truth I had been chasing since I was old enough to notice how my own people never fully trusted me, never quite rejecting me either, just quietly expecting me to get it wrong. I broke the seal carefully and unfolded the pages. The ink was faded but still readable. My eyes scanned faster with every line, my heartbeat growing louder in my ears. Eclipse Wolves were not just rare. They were erased—not by accident, not by war, but by agreement between the ruling Alphas. My fingers tightened around the parchment. Entire bloodlines had been wiped out because of what they could do. Wolves who could bend the strength of others as if it belonged to them—a weapon too dangerous to exist freely. My body went rigid, my lungs struggling to find a steady pace against the rising fear. That couldn’t be right. It didn’t explain everything. I turned the page quickly, desperate for more, for anything that could tell me why I had spent my entire life feeling like something inside me was sealed shut. Then I saw it. A final line written in darker ink, almost like a warning rather than a record: The Eclipse bloodline was not extinct. It was hidden. The last carrier remains unknown. My breath caught in my throat, leaving me momentarily unable to speak or think clearly. “Last carrier?” I whispered. My fingers trembled slightly before I forced them still. No. That wasn’t possible. I had spent my entire life suppressing whatever strange shifts happened within me. The weakness of others when I was near them. The way energy sometimes felt like it bent around my skin. I had told myself it was imagination. I had to believe that. Because the alternative meant death. Heavy footsteps broke the silence. My body froze instantly. I had been careless; I should have left sooner. The footsteps stopped at the top of the stairwell. “You shouldn’t be here.” My stomach dropped. Elder Kael. One of the council watchers. My hand trembled as it tightened around the document. There was no time to hide it. He appeared at the edge of the chamber, his eyes narrowing the moment he saw me. “Lyanna,” he said slowly, like my name itself was a warning. “Step away from that.” I didn’t move. I couldn’t. The air around me shifted slightly, as if it were responding to my fear. His gaze dropped to my hand. “What did you find?” he said as he came down the stairs, hands folded behind his back, his gaze fixed on me without a blink. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said, though my voice betrayed me. He stepped closer. “You were never meant to come down here. That knowledge is sealed for a reason.” “And what reason is that?” I asked before I could stop myself. His expression darkened. “Because some truths are not meant to survive.” Something inside me snapped at his words. Not anger, exactly, but instinct. The moment he raised his hand, I felt it. His power surged forward, aimed at me like a strike. I didn't know what to do. I felt the shift in the air again, stronger this time. His energy collided with me—and then it stopped. For a moment, there was silence. Elder Kael staggered back, confusion flashing across his face. “What did you do?” I stared at my own hands. Something inside me stirred, like it had awakened briefly and then gone still again. A strange heat lingered under my skin, unfamiliar and terrifying. “I didn’t…” But then I felt it. A faint surge inside me, powerful this time. I looked up slowly. His strength… it was inside me. The realization hit like ice. My breathing turned shallow. “No,” I whispered. “No, no…” His eyes widened. “Eclipse…” he breathed. The word shattered the room. I stumbled back, my pulse racing in my throat, a panicked warning that told me to run. “Stop looking at me like that,” I said, but my voice cracked. The air around us trembled again, reacting to my panic. I didn’t know how to control it. I didn’t even know what it was. “I didn’t ask for this,” I whispered, my throat tight and wet with tears. He took a step toward me, then stopped, as if remembering something far more dangerous than me. “If they confirm what you are,” he said quietly, “you will not leave this place alive.” Everything went quiet, a sudden, frigid stillness that froze the words in my throat. Then I ran. I didn't think; I just moved. I raced up the stairs, my heart beating so fast I couldn't hear anything else. Behind me, the house exploded with noise. Shouts, alarms, and fear spread everywhere. I pushed outside into the night just as the first bell rang across the grounds. I wasn't hiding anymore. Everyone knew I was there. I kept running until the forest swallowed me whole. Only then did I stop, gasping for breath beneath the trees. My hands were still shaking. I looked down at them again, as if they belonged to someone else. Whatever had awakened inside me was no longer sleeping. It had tasted power, and it remembered. ~ ~ ~ ~ Far beyond the borderlands, in a kingdom of iron and fire, Evander Valerius stood at the edge of a war chamber as messengers entered in haste. “Disturbance in the northern packs,” one reported. “Something impossible… Eclipse energy.” Evander didn’t speak at first. His gaze sharpened slightly, interest cutting through his usual calm. After a moment, he asked, “Is it confirmed?” The messenger dropped to his knees instantly, bowing stiffly. His hands shook as he clutched his cloak, his eyes locked firmly on the tips of his own boots to avoid the King’s icy stare. “No, my King.” “Find it,” Evander said, barely turning his head. “And do not come back until you have it in chains.” ~ ~ ~ ~ Back in the forest, Lyanna pressed a hand against her throat, trying to steady her breathing, unaware that the world had already begun to move toward her. And this time, it would not let her remain hidden.
