"Wait, if Kayden didn't tell you that you were being reassigned, then who told you?" I asked her.
I was confused. Kayden was always the one who dealt with the assigning of staff members to their tasks.
"Zelda told me," she replied.
Zelda! Well, everything suddenly made sense now.
"Why am I not surprised," I muttered, shaking my head in annoyance.
"What do you mean?" Sandi asked, looking up at me in confusion.
"Zelda is not the person you think she is," I explained.
"In what way?" Sandi asked, standing up straight and fully focusing on me.
"Zelda is a power player. She is the type of person who hides a lot of things from the other working girls," I explained.
