The following morning, I awoke and dressed in a pair of jeans and a hoodie. I put my shoes on and walked out of my room, locking the door behind me. I walked through the kitchen grabbing a paper plate and loading it up with food. As I put the food on my plate, I could feel a lot of eyes on me.
"What the f**k do you think you are doing, new girl?" Bella demanded, glaring at me. "Put that plate down and get to work."
Ignoring her, I took my loaded plate and walked out onto the front porch.
"New girl!" Bella shouted.
I took a seat on the front porch and began eating. As I ate, I began to ponder what would be in store for me today. I was looking forward to talking to Shari again. She seemed interesting, and I was looking forward to learning more about her.
