Twists of Fantasy-Chapter One
I woke up in this strange world about a month ago. A place where magic exist, where kings, queens, princes, princesses, lady royals, emperors along with a few other nobles ruled the land. I, who was previously known as Leah Mentez, a scholarship college student, was now addressed to as Lady Rosalie De Vanily, and this is my story.
I became close friends with the original Lady Rosalie's personal maid, Miss Mavis.
It was very hard to adapt at first since I wasn't used to having everything. In my former life, I had no one, struggled to pay bills and obtaining scholarship after scholarship just to stay in school, but here, I have all the materialistic things I could ever want, family and most importantly, a sister. But sadly... even in this world, pure bliss wasn't an option for me.
As I laid on the very comfortable bed, deep in thought, the door opened.
"Here's your breakfast, my lady." I heard Miss Mavis said. "Thank you, Miss Mavis. It does look very delicious." I said escaping my thoughts. "Shall I wait for you to finish your food?" Miss Mavis asked. " Don't just sit around here, sit and eat with me. "
" But my lady, this breakfast's for you. I can't-" Miss Mavis tried to object but Lady Rosalie cut her off by saying,"No excuses, I insist. Please eat with me." In the end Miss Mavis stopped resisting and ate with Lady Rosalie.
After breakfast, Miss Mavis reviewed my schedule. "Firstly, you'll have to visit the royal fashion designer in order to get your outfit for tonight's ball." Miss Mavis said. "Excuse me, Miss Mavis, but what ball are you talking about? "I asked curiously." The royal ball at the royal palace tonight, have you forgotten? " she asked while handing me the invitation." Oh yes! " I recalled.
"Lady Savilla De Vanily has also requested for your assistance to get ready for the ball and the rest of your schedule has been cleared, just as you asked." Miss Mavis continued. "Alright then. Mavis, get the carriage ready." I said and Miss Mavis left immediately.
Leaving for the fashion designer's workshop to go to Lady Savilla's mansion was very exciting for me. I had met her once or twice already but I couldn't help it, she was my favourite female lead character after all.
The carriage came to an abrupt stop as we reached the manner and I caught sight of a very excited Lady Savilla, coming up to me.
"Dear sister it's so good to see you again. I'm so happy you took the time to visit me. I heard that you were supposed to have a lot of work today." Lady Savilla said while stepping forward to me." It's nice to see you too, and don't worry about the other work I had. That's what sisters are for!" I said, smiling."Sister, you're so sweet. I feel like tearing up now." she said, starting to become hysterical." Don't tear up just yet, we have a ball to get ready for." I said, winking. "Shall we go inside?" "Of course!" she said excitedly and we entered the manor.
Having a sister after being completely alone once, I would do anything to be with her, especially since she's my favourite female lead.
Riding in the same carriage as her, being able to talk to her, it all felt like a dream come true, a feeling of sisterhood that I hadn't gotten to experience during my former life...
As the carriage halted, the excitement within me grew. We were finally here! The royal palace, attending the royal ball. The very ball where the love story of Lady Savilla De Vanily and Prince Liam truly began.
To be continued...
