Aurora’s POV…..
“Why are we here?” I finally asked, he has been on a call all day, working out a way to get Nichols here and I knew I had limited time, everything that has happened these past few days has been different, it has not been the way I had thought it would be.
A breath fell out of my lips as he turned to stare at me; I glanced at him with a frown on my face.
“You need a vacation and so do I.” He spoke and I felt the urge to roll my eyes at him, I was certain that there was something that had to do with it.
“So can we leave the house, since it’s a vacation?” I breathed out and he nodded.
I didn’t think he was going to agree to that, so I masked off the shock with a smile on my face.
“Get ready in five and not a second later because I am not going to wait.”
