“What did she say to you?” Dominic asked again, and I glanced at him with my heart in my throat, unsure of what to say.
“She uh… she said you never had a brother,” I murmured and he frowned, his eyes filled with darkness as he looked at me.
“Do you believe her?” He asked and I shook my head.
“No, I get a bad feeling when I am close to her and my instincts never lie.”
He takes two strides toward me and his warm hand gently placed against my back, as he dragged me closer to him, his jaw ticking with anger, and his eyes closed for a second.
“She wanted you to leave because she doesn’t want me to feel, she wants me to fall into the darkness and she said things to scare you, make you realize that you are better off and she is aware that, if you attempt to leave, it could led to your death
