Chapter 23October 15th, Sunday Morning The rest of the ride out to the coven was much nicer. I left behind the busy city streets and rode along gently curving roads with trees and now and then by a houses and fields. I saw horses and goats at one place. No dogs chased me. By the time I saw the gate I was feeling much better. From the road the coven's property was visible. Right on the other side of the gate was a small rough wood carport with a couple vans and a truck. A short driveway led to a space to turn around bordered by rock. But the drive didn't go to the houses. Instead a path led across the lush green field that covered most of the land. Behind that rocky tree-covered hills rose up on two sides.
