I am still waiting to see if he is gonna agree with what jill said. Jack looked at me and said: Luke? i can't believe what I'm hearing. I started to think, well this is something. but i said: What can't you believe jack? jack then told me that he can't believe what he is hearing from her mouth. But i don't understand why he thought that it would be okay for the two of them to perform like this in front of their two kids. Jack? i asked, what about your kids? jill then said: Kelly and Max are fine. I said: I looked at your faces after he beated you up and kelly had a small tear running down her face and max looked abit angry because he probably thinks that all of this is okay right? and Kelly's tears were most likely tears of joy right? Because it makes more sense. jill looked at jack and said: I am not happy jack. I then had to make him see that this is super wrong. i said: Do you remember how you met her? that day in the bar? And that guy steve? Jack started to feel like crap because he remembered and said: I'm sorry jill. they then kissed and then we went home.
As i walked home, thought to myself, what if Jack just pretended? i hope that all of that was real and that he truelly does stop. As i opened the door i saw the lights going on and off at a continuous setting. This felt like supernatural phenomenon. i walked into every room and immediately felt fear and asked out loud, "Is anybody here in this house? Show yourself? but then i thought, what if i can't handle the view of whatever this is? and then i heard a soft and clear voice say: I am here. my heart beat started to increase and i in my fear asked: What is your name and why are you here? The voice said: I am in your midst and I've been watching you. Why are you watching me? The voice said: You do not need to know that and you've got company. Immediately somebody knocked on the door and as i went to unlock it, the lights stopped flickering. Oh hello jack, how are you? i am fine and you Luke? i am good. Do you wanna come in? and he said yes. you may take a seat. Jack said: No, I wanna talk now. Why? what's up? Jill is unhappy. I was not shocked when he said so but couldn't help myself but to ask. Why is she unhappy? and then he said that she's mad about everything. I asked: Could she be on her period? He looked at me and asked: Are you crazy?! i said: No, I'm just trying to concider every possibility. Jack said: It must be about the beatings. I told him to relax and that he must stay calm and that everything will be okay because I'm gonna go ahead and talk some sense into her head.
He looked at me and said: Please Luke, i don't wanna lose her. I told him that he should not worry because i will go and talk to her about this. So i left and he waited in my house. As soon as i left the house, the lights started to flicker again and then almost immediately the fear struck his soul. Finally i arrived at their house and then i started knocking on the door and jill opened up and was so happy to see me. "Hey Luke" how are you doing? i said: I am and you? and she said that she was fine but i could see the bruises on her face and her look even after saying those words didn't match the complete outfit of her appearance. I then asked if it was okay for me to come in because i wanted to talk to her. She thankfully agreed and so i went in. upon entering i looked around the house and thought to myself that everything looks good and in orderly fashion. You may have a seat Luke. Thanks i said. do you want anything? yes I'd like some coffee please. how many sugar? I'd like three table spoons please. As she went to the kitchen i looked to the left and i saw the kids just watching me and to be honest, i was a little freaked out because i didn't expect them to stand there. "Hello" i said. Kelly asked me if it was okay to talk to them too, and i said yes. After i said yes, they went to their rooms and closed their doors. Suddenly my phone rang and i picked it up. Hello? And the voice from the other line was Jack. Luke? yeah man, what's up? jack told me about the lights that won't stop flickering. I said: Don't panic because maybe my lights is just flickering because the life of it is nearly at it's bitter end. He said: Well did you buy all of these lights at the same time? and did you put them on at the same time and now they are leaving planet earth at the exact same hour? what can i say? Together come, together go. This is freaken serious Luke! i am freaking out here. Please relax, this is the part where you become a man and stay put. Jack told me that he is coming back over. I raised my voice and said: Not a good idea man. Well what am i supposed to do? I said: Could you just be strong and sit quietly while ignoring the facts? He remained silent for like 5 seconds and said: It's easy for you to say because you are not in a haunted house right now. I tried to make him see that i was the one living there and his just there for a temporal period. Finally jack said: You know what? I asked what? He then told me that if he escapes this nightmares realm then he is truelly is the bravest man alive. So you'll wait until i get back then? yes! said Jack.
