High School Abby

I was called by my head teacher to help out with some work at school. Maybe because my house was really close or because of something else. I wasn't really keen at first but after talking with my mum. I dragged my 15 year old butt to the school. I passed the gates of the school looking back to catch sight of a red Matrix leave and go into the main road. I focused, steeling my nerves and after a short walk I arrived at the reception. Inside the reception another person was spotted on the long steel chair that usually sat nearly empty at times like this. I was thinking. "probably to take an exam". It was a girl I realised after a short while, "a pretty girl" my brain echoed. Good observation I noted. I didn't look at her for long before I turned to greet the secretary. "Good morning, Secretary". He put his head up from the computer he was buried in. I looked at him meaningfully. " How have you been spending your holiday" . Just some small talk with him and I proceeded to look at the girl. I had caught her observing me with the corner of my eyes. so I turned to face her fully. She averted her gaze. " Just sit down and wait for the Principal to tidy up, she'll have you soon". I sat down on the reception sit. Yh and now I'm sitting in the same chair as her. The pretty girl. And as I sat next to her, the first thing I noticed was her intoxicating scent. It was strong and sweet and obviously something I wanted to get used to. I decided to strike a conversation with the feminine angel. 'love at first sight'. Another observation my brain pointed out. Not quite correct because it was a mild attraction and not love at all. ' You can't go around loving every girl you see at first sight' I rolled my eyes. Although the place was completely quiet, we weren't the only ones in the building. The school was holding entrants lessons for students whose parents wanted their children to have extras before entering the school. "Hey" I blurted before I could stop myself. So brain, you couldn't come up with anything better than that. It was not bad, it did the job though because she turned to address me. And now I could now see her clearly. She looked to be about my age. I turned fifteen a few days ago so maybe... She should be about a class below I thought, or my classmate, who knows. I was about saying something else. The receptionist chose the time to prevent my brain from saying any other weird thing. "Mr Iros, how are you doing? It's been quite a while, Are you done with your own quota of the assignment?". My attention has now left the girl sitting next to me and moved to the man in front of me. "yh, but it's not been up to a week, Mr Kion'' I said trying to sound sarcastic. "by the way. When is she going to receive me? do you have any idea why the Principal is requesting my presence?" I said trying to sound nonchalant. "get to meet her first then you'll know. That and only that I can assure you". The telephone on his desk rang and he picked it then dropped it. "well here's your cue, she's asking for you".
