“Hello, anyone here?” called a voice.
“I’ll be right there,” answered Valerie. “I’m in the back room.”
Valerie stuck her head out of the back room, where she had been unpacking a new box of art.
“Hi, Don,” she said with a smile. “What are you doing here when the coffee house is open?”
“I am taking my break. I have a new helper. She has been doing a good job, so I can take a break every once in a while. I heard about your fight with the bee. How are you doing?” asked Don.
“I’m doing well. All I needed was the right medicine and I was ready to come home.” Valerie laughed. “It must be a slow news day if all the news is about my bee sting.”
“We were all worried about you. Cindy kept us updated.”
“There is no more need to worry. I am fine.”
“I’m glad,” said Don. “I was wondering if you
