Valerie gave directions as they went through town and out to the highway. She directed him to the turn off going North toward the lake. It was a beautiful day. Marcus put the windows down and they both enjoyed the warm wind blowing through their hair. Valerie raised her face and laughed into the wind. Marcus smiled in response. They reached the turn toward the lake and proceeded to the picnic area. “The land on the right belongs to the Indian reservation,” explained Valerie.
