Mallie stirred. She was lying in Daniel’s arms. They were in their favorite place on the beach. She and Daniel had talked and kissed until they fell asleep in each other’s arms. She was feeling a little stiff, but she didn’t want to wake Daniel, so she grew still again. It was heaven just to lie here in his arms. Mallie sighed softly. She was worried about how things were going to go for her and Daniel. Would they wake up? Would they get to have the life they were talking about together? She loved him so much. They had to have a chance. There was no way they could not be together. Why else would they meet like this? They were destined to be together.
