"v-vordelia?"

vyrion couldn't believe his eyes.

is this real?

he didn't imagine it?

vyrion had a hard time believing it because corale's body was still lying on the bed—no sign of waking up yet.

"i ..." vyrion almost choke out let his voice out, then he speechless again, unable to talk about this. his eyes watched closely every little movement that vordelia did.

how vordelia raised her hand, then twisted her body as if to check something before then her lips parted softly while her aqua eyes shone with surprise and happiness.

"this is real ... i'm free," vordelia said in relief.

real? free?

what does it all mean?

vyrion really did not understand, nor did he say or ask anything even though his head was filled with many questions. his eyes still locked to her, stare blankly.

"vyrion ..."

his name is said to be able to return vyrion to the real world, he blinked a few times, making sure he wasn't hallucinating, this wasn't a dream, then after making sure that vordelia's figure didn't disappear from his eyes, also corale was still lying, "how is th—" he tried his best to catch what which is now happening.

"vyrion ..." vordelia called his name again, his eyes were filled with tears, "i'm really happy we can meet again."

vyrion didn't respond, but he didn't resist when vordelia came closer to hug her body gently, something familiar to her.

"i'm really grateful to be free from your confinement."

vyrion didn't understand at first, then when vordelia tightened her arms around her a memory hit him so hard.

this memories is about their another promise.

vyrion gives half of his heart to vordelia who is scared what if she reincarnation alone or they are not together. half-heartedly inside him, when fate brought them together, memories of their past life emerged.

vyrion lowered his eyes to the floor. he felt the same way, the feeling deep inside was throbbing hard it's painful, but... "what did you say? we've been together, haven't we? you—corale."

"i told you, didn't i? i was trapped in half of your heart? which happened to be in corale's heart." vordelia explained, "i saw all your actions, but couldn't do anything. my voice didn't reach your heart."

"i ..." since vordelia said she saw all his actions, vyrion is getting more and more guilty, indirectly he moves to another heart, something he is afraid of.

vyrion took a deep breath.

vordelia must be begging to stop looking every time vyrion shows his affection for corale.

vyrion slowly moved his eyes to corale who was still lying on the bed. what happened to them was a mistake, but deep inside his heart he ask himself.

corale is not vordelia, but will her feelings stay the same?

vyrion couldn't find the answer to his doubts.

"mhm ..." a soft sigh escaped corale's lips making all eyes turn to her.

vyrion who still locked his eyes at corale, see her move hers eyelids slowly before opened them. he couldn't describe how grateful he was that he had finally woken up, but this also confirmed that the vordelia in his arms was real. he took another deep breath.

since when is the situation this complicated?

"you're finally awake, corale," vordelia greeted cheerfully.

vyrion saw corale's eyes still tired staring into him then vordelia alternately before then turned her face away slowly.

corale didn't seem surprised to learn of vordelia's existence, which meant it wasn't her first time.

"yes..." corale mumbled as her feet got off the bed to the floor, she stood up carefully, her legs hadn't recovered, and she lost her balance and fell.

vyrion saw that, and teleported to help corale not to fall to the floor, "are you okay?" this is surprised him, he can bring out words to her, come out worries too.

"yes..." corale replied to the question without looking her in the eye at all "can you let me go...?"

somehow, vyrion didn't want to let her go. hers words is just normal request, but right now the meaning felt different to him.

"vyrion..." corale cautiously called him "i'll be fine..." he encourage him "i'm sure... you have a lot to talk to... vordelia."

vordelia...

vyrion let go of corale at last, his heart heavy to do so, let alone let him walk away from her to leave the room. he looked down at his palm which still had its warmth left on him.

the feeling for her is real too.

"are you all right, vyrion?" vordelia asked quietly.

"no," the word just came out of vyrion's mouth.

"you're in love with him, vyrion?" vordelia asked, her voice not coming out sad, "you must be confused. i'm sorry for not trying to get out of that cage faster."

there vordelia he knew.

"don't blame yourself," vyrion advised him, a bad habit he had long ago. he felt nostalgic about this, "i was the one who was wrong. i was so sure you were corale ..." he took another deep breath, "i'm sorry ..." was all he could come out after what had happened between him and coral.

he understands if he is angry, even hates him.

his relationship with corale was already at a deep stage after all.

vyrion was ready to hear the screams, the blows, anything from the vordelia. she was really ready and deserved it, what she wasn't ready for was his hug.

"it's okay. after all, it's all your feelings for me."

vyrion is relieved that he forgave her even though it's a little strange, and scared because what he feeling for corale is real as his feeling to vordelia.
