Vega hasn't let Corale out yet, instead invites him to the basement, he intends to interrogate the foreign woman who shot Corale and Gael yesterday.

Corale thought the foreign woman had been handed over to the Police, but in fact she's still in the castle!?

Turns out, Vega hasn't done it yet because he's busy making the antidote for the truth potion.

Of course he wanted to go.

Corale wanted to know who had told the woman to do such a vicious act.

The crypt is separate from the castle, next to the garden.

Corale thought the small room was for her belongings or wine, but it wasn't.

Vega opened the secret door which was on the carpet-covered floor, inside the room was dark and there was a muffled groan.

"You locked him up in the dark like this?" Corale asked in shock. Didn't think Vega would act cruel like this.

"It's not as bad as he intends to kill you, Miss Corale," Vega understands Corale feeling, but sometimes she has to teach people who commit criminal, "I wonder if he changed his mind or is still the same after this."

Corale was clearly sorry that she hoped the stranger would choose to hand over the information rather than suffer further. He almost closed his eyes helplessly when Vega turned on the light, the foreign woman was tied up, sitting on a chair still wearing the same clothes as yesterday.

The foreign woman's voice was muffled by the cloth covering her mouth so as not to make a noise.

Vega removed the cloth covering the foreign woman's mouth, "Hello, good evening. Did you sleep well?"

The woman clicked her tongue in response.

"I see you behavior hasn't changed much~ But I hope you change your mind~" Vega says with innocent smile on her lips.

"Please, don't make her mad. You don't know what she is capable of," Corale says with hints sympathy.

That woman face is so pale and exhausted, maybe she spend all night trying to struggling escape, she must haven't eaten yet since Vega brought sandwich here.

"I don't need your pity!" That woman snapped.

"I guess it's true human sometimes born with evil heart," Vega says while shook her head, "You want to say something or not, hm~? I brought meal special for you if you speak who hired you to kill my friend."

"Just let me die."

Corale gasped, "Don't you dare say that! What we need is just information! We're not gonna murder you!" Just thinking someone blood on her hands send shiver down her spine.

"Life is cruel," that woman says without hint sympathy in her dark eyes, "you all life must be full rainbow, huh? To easy saying dumb like that."

"Don't bring my private life into this! Something normal another human show sympathy to others!" Corale protested, "you—"

"Miss Corale, enough," Vega interrupted, getting irritated by that woman behaviour, "We doing the easy way, but she still wants the hard way. What can we do? Giving her want she want."

"But—" Corale still believe can change that woman heart with encourage words, but Vega shook her head, telling her to stop it, "You didn't give her something terrible aren't you?"

"Hm~" Vega hum in response, "this room names torture room for reason, Miss. Corale~"

This is torture room?

And why Vega is saying that like it so normal to have home have torture room!?

'I guess every old castle must be have one room like this?'

Corale felt uncomfortable just images it, "Please don't tell me you prepared tools like Iron M*iden, or something horrifying, aren't you?" Just says that word sent cold shiver down her spine again. She hugged herself thinking Vega pull out tools like that.

"Whaaa—? What do you think I am, Miss Corale?" Vega pissed right now, "I just want her to drink the truth potion! You speculation is horrible."

"Sorry." Vega says torture room, and Corale lost it. She relief Vega didn't use method like that.

Vega looked away, still not forgive her, "Anyway ..." She took out bottle from her maid's pocket, "This is your final chance. Talk or we doing my way."

Corale really hope, but desperate that woman pale face, she still not softened.

"Screw both of you!"

"I see," Vega muttered, for this moment agree on Vyrion comment about human act dumb things just for sake pride, "Freeza!" she cast spell, and that woman body change stiff.

Corale watched how Vega opened the woman's mouth and then spilled the truth potion into the woman's mouth.

With one more spell, the woman seemed to be under hypnosis, swallowing the pink liquid until nothing remained.

"What's your name?" Vega ask after see that woman blank stare at her.

"Red." That woman voice sound monotone, effect from the potion start kicking.

"So Red, who hired you to kill, Miss Corale?" Vega ask calmly.

"Don't know."

"What!?"

Is the truth potion not working?

But the woman's face said otherwise. He's honest.

"You did not know?"

"Yes. That person ... is under anonymous name paid my agency ... to hurt Corale Vincent ..."

"I see ..." Vega think deeply for moment.

That anonymous person know what they are doing not getting caught if this assassin get into trouble.

"Never meet them too?" Corale joined ask.

That person maybe stay anonymous, but maybe they show up too give information or something. Even under covered as long as she can get information, it's fine.

Sadly, that woman slowly shook her head.

"This is useless," Vega let out long breath, "Whoever it is, they will continue targeting you, Miss Carole."

Corale couldn't think anyone who wants her other than Victor, but him wants her to be his bride not dead, "Maybe my father enemy?"

"Anything impossible," Vega says, "You didn't pissed of some rich kid when in collage, aren't you?"

"No!" Corale playing nice, even try to adapt, she couldn't see Zoe friends hate her so much until want to kill her.

"Good. Is the best to avoid any drama or trouble, Miss. Corale," Vega give some advice, "sometimes create fake persona help our life."

"Anyway, if you want to do activity outside, best to teleport with me or Vyrion," Vega can just think this plan right now, "no more taking walk."
