Gael was really serious about his promise, he started asking if Corale would work part time because he was thinking about looking for a job after this.
Corale doesn't stand in her way this time, instead she suggests working at her new friend Zoe's cafe, considering she turned him down yesterday. He also offers her to stay here with him because he came especially for her.
Gael didn't accept it right away, as opposed to his heart screaming happily 'yes' about the offer to live together, "What about the woman named Vega?"
"Vega is the maid here, she must understand," Corale replied, "What I'm worried about is Vyrion, but I will persuade him if he refuses you to stay here."
"Vyrion?"
"He's the head butler here," Corale replied with no enthusiasm at all, remembering Vyrion's unconscious state again, "He can be very cold because he prefers to be alone, other than that there's nothing for you to worry about, Gael."
Gael doubted it. From her vision it was clear that something was up when Corale spoke of Vyrion, though briefly, her facial expression couldn't lie, "Any other maids?" He guessed that there were many when calculated from the size of this castle.
Corale shook her head, and got the same look of shock from Gael as when she first found out that only Vyrion and Vega were working here, "They worked really hard, didn't they?"
"Y-yes," Gael couldn't imagine how tiring it would be to do all the work such as washing dishes, clothes, and most importantly cleaning dust. He was amazed and surprised at the same time, "You don't intend to add new people?"
Corale only let out a small laugh. He could, of course with the consent of Vyrion and Vega.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Miss Corale?" Vega's voice came from outside, "Sorry to interrupt, is Mr. Gael awake yet?"
"Yes~" Corale stood up to open the bedroom door, "Any progress?" he asked hopefully.
Vega looked away.
"Vegas?" Corale started to worry he was acting uncharacteristically "Did something happen to Vyrion?"
"I can't stop it," Vega mumbled, blaming himself, "the effect."
Corale still didn't understand what had happened. He rushed downstairs to check on Vyrion.
He's still sleeping.
At first Corale didn't know something was wrong until the moment she put her hand on top of hers, that's when she realized it.
Very cold.
Like ice.
Corale watched Vyrion's chest slowly rise and fall, "Vyrion?" She tries to call him.
There's no answers.
Corale tried to hook her fingers with hers, but couldn't.
Apart from being cold, Vyrion's body was also stiff.
"This is the effect?" Corale asked desperately. It was definitely much different from when he woke her up after drinking the truth potion, "Vyrion? Come on, wake up."
"I hope the effect is temporary," Vega spoke behind him, "I didn't expect it to turn this way."
Could lucky clover be the cause? Since the beginning the ingredient was not included.
Vega added to make it easier for Vyrion to swallow. If true, he wouldn't stop blaming himself.
"Vyrion..." Corale called out, her voice now desperate, "Don't worry about us. Ok?" He asked, hoping his voice would reach him who was asleep, "Take time you need to gain your strength, but you must wake up."
'Eveybody needs you. I need you, Vyrion.'
Corale caressed the top of Vyrion's head, moving down along her curves until it stopped on his cheek, caressing gently hoping the warmth would ease his chill.
There is no point.
"Vyrion..."
The room fell silent for a moment until there was a knock on the door.
"Who came so early?" Vega groaned, but opened it anyway, "Oh. Mr. Laurent, good morning."
"Morning, Vega," Gabriel greeted back, "is Corale in?"
Corale is inside, but her condition...
Vega glanced at Amber who was beside Gabriel, "You want to do tutoring here?"
"Do you know?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow. He hadn't told her about this yet though, "Yeah, it has to be sharpened to make it a beautiful diamond, doesn't it?"
Vega for some reason didn't like what Gabriel said about Corale, "Please come in. I'll prepare tea for you. Just tell me what kind of tea you want."
"As usual. For Amber, chamomile tea," Gabriel replied, then slowly walked in, "Corale, good morning."
"Oh," Corale just remembered she had to start tutoring again, "Good morning."
"I'm sorry about yesterday," Gabriel said, "Olivia is often like that when under the influence of alcohol."
"It's okay," Corale understood, though she couldn't remember smelling the alcohol on Olivia's body.
"Vyrion is still asleep, huh? Something rare," Gabriel said, "he looks a lot better asleep than awake." And made a 'j*rk' face every time someone visited the castle.
"No!" Corale shouted loudly making the whole room shocked by it, "Vyrion is much better when sober ..." He muttered, realizing he was losing control as he interpreted Gabriel's words in a negative direction, "he is showing a lot of emotion ..."
Which is Corale already missing about Vyrion.
"Corale, you..." Gabriel didn't know what had happened during his stay in the castle, but imagining him slowly getting attracted to the so-called 'rock' Vyrion was surprising, "I don't care about Vyrion. I'm here to introduce you to tutor will teach you. Ms. Amber."
Corale wasn't interested at all, didn't even move from her spot.
"Corale," Gabriel called, slightly irritated he ignored her, "show some manners."
Corale still refused to move.
Gabriel lost his control. He approached Corale, and pulled her arm up to her feet, "What's the matter with you? Watching people sleep is weird," he criticized, "and why is he sleeping here again?"
"Don't touch him!" Corale shouted, slapping Gabriel's hand that was about to hold Vyrion, "you have no right to touch after insulting him."
"What?" Gabriel was taken aback by Corale's nonsensical remark, "You have no idea how many insults he inflicts on me and your father each time we go to the castle. So I ask you to seek information first, Corale," he explained elegantly, but with a piercing meaning.
Corale didn't listen, she sat back down watching Vyrion.
"Corale Vincent," Gabriel couldn't believe he had turned into this stubbornness, "he was just sleeping. Now you have to start studying." She tried to reach him again, and once again her hand got a hard slap, "Ouch."
"I don't care about tutors or whatever!"
