from vyrion perspective
three days after the incident
***
as soon vyrion wake up from deep slumber, every inch his body felt heavy, he ask vega about what happened after they found corale at the castle forest.
vega explain after they found corale, vyrion pass out too, and she the one who brought him at castle.
as soon as the name corale was mentioned by vega, vyrion's head hurt like being electrocuted, he groaned in pain because of it.
vega hastily got up from his chair to approach him "what is it, lord vyrion?"
vyrion didn't hear what vega had to say, his head was filled with memories he'd never remembered before, swirling into one, and his entire body snapped, then his let out gasp, "i remembered."
"remember what?"
"many things," vyrion whispered, his chest throbbing painfully, "vordelia ... our last moment together ... why i blame myself for failed to make her life more longer."
"you are remembered!" vega screaming excited, "yes, you almost success doing the task the king gives you."
"yeah..." vyrion remembered the tasks that cost him every day dying of being too heavy even for a god like himself, his wish with vordelia and their baby that kept him going this far, "where's corale?"
the spark in vega's brown eyes disappeared to be replaced sadly, "still asleep, lord vyrion."
"in her room?" vyrion asked then got out of bed after getting a nod from vega "what about the others? you destroyed forbidden magic alone?" he remembered well the whole forest including whatever was there turned into crystal.
vega who followed behind explained in awe, "yes. i was surprised it took me a few hits of my strength for the crystal to disappear. the fleaur pure blood is really something else."
vyrion stopped walking, "the fleaur pure blood? so you believe what i believe now?" he assures, it would be more refreshing if vega was on his side, there was no need for them to argue over something obvious.
vega fells silent for moment, before speak lowly, "i do, but what i don't understand is, why she reincarnation without you is still doubt me. the promise is not like that."
"you can ask the king this," vyrion said, "you know i can't go there."
"i doubt the king will answer," vega said, "this is all about you and vordelia."
"yeah ..." vyrion continued his steps, slowly opened the door to corale's room slowly, then entered. his eyes immediately locked on her body that was lying on the bed peacefully, still for some reason the position she was asleep gave a bad feeling in her head, "don't tell me that she hasn't woken up at all...?"
vega wished he could cheer up vyrion, but he couldn't "you two have been sleeping for two days. i'm doing my best to transfer energy so you two recover quickly." that's why he was so happy he finally woke up, so much had happened during this time.
vyrion carefully placed his hand on corale's cheek, and flinch at how cold her skin now, "you going good job protect your loved one, now ... it's time to wake up, my love." he caresses her cheek without any sign of her noticing his touch, "don't you miss me? you working so hard restore my memories ... it's alright now. i remember our times together. happy and sad memories, so ... it's ok to stop now. don't work too hard." he continues, afraid if she won't wake up soon she couldn't make it.
"let's try to transfer our energy together to her for now on, lord vyrion?" vega ask sadly, "with you, i have high hope we can wake her up more sooner." even though she knows corale already fully recovered, she trying to recover her mind and heart so she could hear their voice, then try to wake up herself.
"yes," vyrion agreed without hesitation.

they try.
trying ...
and two day passed in blink eye.
still, there is no sign that corale will wake up from her long slumber.
more memories comes to vyrion, more personal about the beginning of his insanity. before, he didn't know which god his killing because to much blood on the bodies, now he knows, thanks to corale.
he knows clearly what cause him doing all that.
his body fell on the floor the moment familiar face comes to his mind.
he couldn't believe it.
too hard for him because that god is another one who been helping him and vordelia all this time. his dear friend, vordelia former eternal partner.
aeon.
he has killed aeon.
when vyrion asked vega about the possibility of aeon being able to survive his brutal attack, she shook her head.
everyone knew aeon didn't survive.
vyrion blames himself how can he lose consciousness, then attacks aeon on the grounds he hates being in heavens? because of this, the king send him to earth, cursed him.
the king want him to think about all his action, then when he realize all of this, the curse will be released if he the right truth been come out, and choose right path.
the more memories coming back to him, the more he disgust about himself, and he couldn't do anything about it.
he so ashamed of himself, act cruel around everyone.
'like i can't control myself. i lost myself as i lost my memories of vordelia.'
vyrion caressed corale's cold cheek. at times like this, he really needs her spirit, her sweet smile. she may not be able to completely shake off her guilt feelings, but with her support, she can endure, "i really need you right now, corale."
silence followed as he stopped talking.
vyrion is really helpless, everything he has done to make corale wake up, but everything seems in vain, "are you going to continue like this? i know very well you can fight anything that holds you back to my side, my love."
will he get his memories again at the cost of corale not waking up?
there's no way this is real.
vyrion looked deeply at corale's pale face, not showing a slight blush on her cheeks, "you pa—" he was about to say something was interrupted by a light that suddenly appeared on his chest, slowly his whole body was enveloped in light. he had to cover his eyes with the back of his hand, "w-what happened?"
why is corale suddenly like this?
is this a sign he's about to wake up?
vyrion was hopeful even though it was different from what he had experienced before, "corale?" he tried to call out, the light protecting him grew even brighter, his eyes shut involuntarily from too much glare.
it took a few seconds for the light that enveloped the corals to shine brightly and then dim.
vyrion has high hopes corale wakes up now, calls her name in her soft voice, unexpectedly another soft voice that she knows very well calls her slowly, leave him frozen in his place.
"vyrion...?"
vyrion opened his eyes quickly only to widen in shock to see who was in front of him.
a woman he had longed for, the reason was still alive.
"v-vordelia...?"
