The Power Inside Me

Corale managed to dodge the collision thanks to zoe pulling her violently backwards until she fell to the pavement.
"ugh ..." corale whimpered in pain. what just happened? her opened her eyes ... and what she see in like straight from horror movies.
zoe didn't make it in time to safe herself, she the one who getting hit by full speed car, and now lay helplessly five meters away from here, with blood all over her body.
"zoe!!!" corale cried, ran over her, "oh, god ... no, no."
this can't be real.
zoe back head, and hips is bleeding.
corale took off her jacket, pressed zoe hips to stop from bleeding, "can someone please call ambulance!? please!" she cried desperate while check another sign if there's possible internal bleeding.
her mouth didn't show any blood out.
zoe eyes half open stare tiredly at corale.
"don't says something. please," corale ask while crying, can't hold back seeing zoe so hopeless like this, "i try too stop blood come out from your body. stay with me, zoe."
the tiny light in zoe eyes slowly dissapeard change to empty.
"zoe...!" corale start perform cpr seeing zoe unconscious, and her chest didn't move rise and fall.
zoe are not breathing.
'no. no. no. i won't let you die! the ambulance will come soon, so you have to stay with me!'
corale mind screaming desperate.
'zoe!'
this is her fault.
zoe should be the one is safe.
she the one who should be in zoe position.
corale can't lose her.
why zoe have to safe her anyway!?
now corale start thinking nonsense.
'i wont let you die!'
as corale mind is screaming, a sudden light start to come out of her body, then gather on her hands.
'huh?'
what's this light?
so warm.
corale don't know this light come from, since her hands is on zoe hips, the gaping wounds slowly heal until the wound disappeared as if it were non-existent. she really shock at first, but start to lightly touch zoe back head.
like zoe hips, her back head wound slowly heal too.
leaving only dry blood all over zoe ash blonde hair.
corale hear low whimpered come out zoe mouth, and she couldn't handle more happiness know her friend chest start to moving rise and fall again.
show sign zoe is still alive, even her eyes are still closed.
that's okay.
'thank goodness...'
corale hold zoe hand tightly.
an ambulance can be hear from distance, with this, corale know everything will be alright.

paramedics took zoe to a nearby hospital for treatment.
corale waited quietly outside. her head fill with strange power who just safe zoe life.
'where does this power come from?'
corale look at her hands resting on top her thighs.
'is there something i missed?'
corale start doubting herself. is she normal human or not? there's no way that mysterious power is a mere coincidence.
there's must be something triggered this mysterious power to come out to help her.
since vyrion or vega didn't give her any 'luck' charm if something like this happening.
'is possible this power is the same as that power who trying to protect me from vega power?'
both power is just trying to protect her.
coral sighs heavily.

"i hear you voice."
corale raise her head, immediately got up seeing vyrion worried face all over her, "you here."
"yes," vyrion response more calmly seeing nothing wrong with her, "what happened?"

corale couldn't control her emotion, and throw her arms to him, "i'm so scared. i thought i will lose her ... zoe, vyrion." and it's her fault if that happens.
vyrion without hesitation hug her back, adequately, "that will never happen, you heal her. she will be fine."
heal zoe?
"how did you know?" corale curiously ask.
"i see everything, after you inner heart scream in pain, i come to check you," vyrion explain, "your power is so familiar but can't remember when i felt it."
so he still can hear her inner voice.
"vega know this?" coral ask.
"she will if she still in this earth. your power is so powerful, you know."
"i hope vega knew about this."
vyrion sure vega knew about this, however afraid the king would let her explain to them.
this is so frustrating.
"um, are by any chance, mrs martin?" a doctor come out zoe room.
"no, i'm her friend," corale denied softly, "is zoe condition is alright, doctor?"
"she's fine now, just scratch and shocked," doctor says, "it's a miracle that horrified accident didn't cause her fatal injuries."
'because i heal her.'
of course corale can't says that, "thank you so much, doctor. her parents will be here soon."
"ok. i'll wait."
"can i see her?" corale try her luck.
"ms. zoe still rest, better not disturb her."
"i understand." corale will wait until zoe parents come here. she sat on long chair again.
"should you change clothes first?" vyrion ask. he didn't want to be rude, but her clothes is covered in blood stain, and smell bit weird.
"oh ..." corale forgot her clothes covered in blood, "but i wanted wait here."
"i give you clothes. while you change in toilet, i will wait her."
that's a good idea.
corale agree without second thought.

corale feel much fresh wearing new clothes, however why vyrion give her dress all white though? like she some princess, while she not.
maybe this is his taste in women?
corale brush weird thought and heading to where zoe room location, which turn out, her family is already here.
zoe already showed her family photo, so corale knew her parents.
"let me! let me see my precious baby!" zoe mom pleaded with frustration. her tremble hand held doctor arm tightly.
"i will, mrs. martin. just let me open the door please," doctor says awkwardly his hand being held so tight until he couldn't move freely.
"i'm sorry," zoe mom let go his hand, "i just so worried. nothing serious happen, right?"
"yes. just scratch and shock."
"oh, i'm so grateful." zoe mom muttered as she sob in her pink handkerchief.
"hello, mr. and mrs. martin," corale greetings politely.
"who are you?" mrs. martin ask, never see coral in her life.
this is so awkward, the look on zoe mom look unfriendly, maybe due not know her yet? "i'm zoe new friend. corale vincent."
"so you with zoe while this accident happened, right?"
corale slightly noded, "i'm sorry about your daughter."
"you bet," zoe mom says coldly.
corale become more regret accept zoe offer, however before she can say anything else, a sudden strong slap land perfectly on her left cheek.
she stared in shock.
