Vyrion took a deep breath after the car corale was traveling in didn't catch his eye again. he loosened his fists which had been clenched into fists to stop himself from exerting his strength to make the car return to the castle.
don't let corale go.
brought her back to the castle, into his arms to wash away the pain in her heart from being away from him.
this is really beyond vyrion's expectation, the love of his life, vordelia is beside him— clinging to him, but the only thing on his mind is corale.
he could realize that his feelings were very strong for corale.
'maybe this will... go away?'
vyrion mistook corale for vordelia from the start. maybe her feelings will fade with time spent with vordelia.
speaking of vordelia, her memories have returned, so maybe it's time to try if she has come out of her curse?
"vega, where is heavens door located?" vyrion asked.
***
can't.
this can't be.
vyrion tried to exert his strength, but heavens door remained tightly shut, not budging at all.
what's wrong with him?
is he still cursed?
vyrion has realized all his mistakes and even regrets them, he thought that was what the king wanted from him, in fact isn't it?
"i've been thinking for a long time, maybe the stage of your curse is that you apologize to the people who were hurt by your words, lord vyrion," vega explained.
apologize?
vyrion doesn't mind that, the problem is the people he hurt are in heavens, and the people he hurt on earth are most likely dead, "i'm not sure they're all still alive. the last time i spoke to a human it was corale's father ."
"that's true, but..." vega thought hard, tilting his head, "you know there are also humans who can live more than a hundred years, lord vyrion."
"you intend to find those people?" vyrion asked, then he got a vega nod of encouragement, he couldn't be more grateful than this, "sometimes i forget the fact that you've been with me all this time."
thinking about the past, vega doesn't go overboard, all he does is protect her from something uncertain like her guess about corale is vordelia.
how different it would be if he followed vega's advice.
he would not feel this heavy longing for corale.
vyrion walked over to hold her hands gently, "vega, i'm sorry."
"eh?" vega is at a loss for words.
"you're the only one who endured when i wasn't me," vyrion explained, "thank you just isn't enough i guess." she remembers her curse is more than a hundred years old, "you who are by my side while others avoid me, afraid of me..."
vega shook his head "i was just doing my job, lord vyrion, and ..." he glanced at vordelia, then smiled a little "i'm glad i could keep my promise."
vyrion glanced his eyes through the crook of his neck, where vordelia was, "we don't know what will happen, huh...?"
vega nodded "since it's your reunion i'll be working in the back castle. i'm sure you two need some time together after being apart for hundreds of years, right?"
somehow, vyrion didn't want that to happen, but he wanted to try his guess so his head nodded slightly.
vega chuckled, "antaresia once told me she wants a sister, lord vyrion~" he tells in a cheeky tone before he teleports to avoid his 'tantrum'.
vyrion took a deep breath. he knows, understands what vega means, but what he has in mind is corale.
remember
this doesn't make sense.
'did i lose myself again?'
lost her love?
after more than a hundred years of wanting to be with vordelia, and she finally got it, her feelings have changed?
'my efforts all this time... in vain?'
vyrion refocused trying to clear his doubts. there's no point in dwelling on it. what's more, he felt vordelia's arms wrap around his neck to get his ruby eyes' attention, "vordelia ..." he muttered, clearly seeing the fire hidden in his aqua eyes.
"antaresia? how is she?" vordelia asked.
to that, vyrion's lips carved a sincere smile, "antaresia is fine. she acts more like you."
"oh yes ...?" vordelia mumbled while leaning her head against vyrion's chest seeking warmth "after this is over, how about we go see him?"
"yes." there was no way vyrion could refuse, he was sure he was very enthusiastic to see antaresia who had grown up to be a beautiful woman.
"vyrion ..."
when vordelia tiptoed to kiss her lips, vyrion's body froze, unable to move or retaliate. shocked at what he saw—his brain had created the illusion of his face turning corale.
he couldn't think, even after the kiss ended.
"vyrion?"
vyrion lowered his head to cover his face with his palms, ashamed of himself and vordelia. how could in a beautiful moment like this his eyes were deceiving himself?
"are you all right, vyrion?"
is he okay? vyrion asked himself. the guilt in her heart was getting bigger, vordelia must be really looking forward to their reunion, and she was like this.
"vyrion?"
"sorry," vyrion mumbled, "i was a little distracted."
vordelia shook her head "i understand."
vordelia's understanding as usual invites nostalgia for vyrion, and her heart can't deny that it feels warm. he didn't want to waste time on an illusion.
his house is here.
vyrion lifted vordelia's body, took her in his arms "i really miss you, my love."
"me too."
vyrion couldn't see what expression vordelia was showing because she was hiding in the crook of her neck. honestly he wanted to see, but decided not to zoom in, he teleported to his room.
"vyrion~" vordelia called out in a spoiled voice, placing her hands on the sides of her head so that her body could be seen clearly by him.
vyrion who saw it felt it was not something that vordelia usually did, she was always shy when it came to making love, now seemed to show her temptation by puffing her chest to make it bigger and seductive.
does this include the effects of their reunion as well?
although it undeniably made vyrion's desire wake up, not wanting the lust to disappear, he started by kissing his neck, then again surprised by the aggressive side he showed again.
vordelia boldly rubbed their private parts sensually while her lips let out a quite loud sigh.
vyrion was like seeing a completely different woman.
was the one with him now really vordelia?
somehow the sentence popped into vyrion's head.
