Chapter Seven: Shopping Extravaganza“Wow, I didn't know a person could bend their body like that!” Nelly exclaimed, still in awe after witnessing the mind-bending performance.Nelly and Morbius were on a mission—to find the perfect gift for Nadia's upcoming birthday bash. As they strolled through the bustling shopping district, Nelly couldn't contain her excitement, while Morbius seemed lost in his thoughts since the performance."Morbius, are you still with me? You've been unusually quiet since the contortionist's act," Nelly nudged him, her eyes wandering to an enticing antique music box on display."It's just... Binny's contortions were... unsettling. I can't unsee that," Morbius shuddered, trying to shake off the disturbing image. But Nelly's attention was already captivated by the music box. "I found it!" she declared, her eyes sparkling with determination."What did you find? A dream catcher?" Morbius asked, puzzled."No, look over there, at that antique store," Nelly pointed excitedly."Williams Old Things?" Morbius read the sign aloud."Yes, look at this music box! Nadia loves music, so it's perfect," Nelly explained, her mind already envisioning Nadia's delight."That's a great idea, Nelly," Morbius agreed, following her into the store. As they entered, the sound of music filled the air, setting the perfect ambiance. "Welcome to Williams Old Things, where your quest for the perfect gift begins," a melodious voice greeted them."Wow, they even have a theme song!" Nelly exclaimed, impressed by the theatrical entrance."Hello, Mr. Williams," Morbius greeted the old man behind the counter, triggering a wave of nostalgia."Young Morbius, how are you doing?" Mr. Williams smiled warmly, recognizing the young werewolf."You know him?" Nelly asked, curious."Yes, my dad used to bring me and Danny here," Morbius explained, reminiscing about his childhood visits."So, what brings you here today?" Mr. Williams inquired, eager to assist."I'm looking for a music box for my sister's birthday," Morbius replied."Aha, the Alpha's quest! How about the Merfolk's Music Box?" Mr. Williams suggested, unveiling a mystical-looking box."What does it do?" Nelly asked, intrigued."It plays beautiful melodies on land, but even more enchanting tunes underwater," Mr. Williams explained, adding to the allure of the gift."Princess Nadia will love it!" Morbius exclaimed, convinced they had found the perfect present."Indeed! We'll take it. How much?" Nelly asked, ready to seal the deal."For you, Alpha, three hundred dollars," Mr. Williams replied, already preparing the gift for delivery."Okay, send it to the pack house, and our accountant will settle the payment. Thank you, Mr. Williams," Morbius said, feeling satisfied with their purchase."But wait, we're not done yet!" Nelly exclaimed, realizing they still had more shopping to do."We haven't even started on clothes and shoes!" Morbius reminded her, his excitement matching hers."Right! Lead the way, Morbius," Nelly said, determined to find the perfect outfit for the birthday celebration. And so, their shopping adventure continued, filled with laughter, surprises, and a hint of drama, as they embarked on their quest to dress to impress for Nadia's special day.
