CHAPTER 35: TO BE HONEST

"Jezz, you are our special guest.. After this, you can help whenever you want. But this weekend is special. I want you to relax and enjoy yourself."

"Thank you so much, Luna, you have really made me feel at home here," I said with a little shyness.

"I'm glad, because soon it will be your home. And we want you to feel like you are part of our family. Like you always have been." Luna Jolina said.

That makes me feel so special.

"So, tomorrow is the big meet and greet! You need a dress. And you may want to pick up a few other necessities since, you know, things aren't fitting the way they used to." She says this with a big goofy smile on her face.

I look down on myself and notice that my blouse has inched its way down and everything is on display more than I thought. I quickly put my hands over my cleavage. Marvin and Jolina are laughing. The twins are looking down at their plates as if more food would appear. Now I know my face is a ridiculous shade of red. I pull my shirt up in the front as much as I can.

"Jezz, look at me." Marvin said.

"Please don't be shy in front of us. We won't ever judge you. We are very open about our bodies. As werewolves, we don't worry about showing skin. We are changing from fur to skin often. Men are proud to show off their muscles because we are stronger, and that's how we protect our mates. Women are softer, curvier, and more feminine. It's those things that give them the great privilege of bearing children and feeding them. We cherish our females because they have these beautiful things about them that we men don't. So, please don't be embarrassed." He said and smiled.

I thought about this for a second, and then nodded.

Still, I'm a little self-conscious, though. But what he said was very sweet. Our bodies were made differently for a reason. I don't have any reason to be embarrassed about those differences. But I'm thinking of picking up some new fashion style in the mall.

"So, can you come shopping with me before the party?" I asked Jolina.

"Yes, sure...but make sure your mom will come too. It would be nice if you wore one of the dresses we had before," she said.

That sounds good-a cost reduction-and I don't want to go shop for bras and pants in front of Marvin.

Mom and Tagi came after an hour. We hugged each other as they arrived at the entrance. Jolina also came out, and she hugged Mom and said something.

"Mom, I don't want you to spend some money on me; please keep it, we need it someday. A new bra and pants are enough for now." I told Mom intently.

"OK, sweetie, don't mind our savings, let's enjoy this weekend with them, that's what your dad told me."

"Dad.. where is he?"

"Your Dad had something to finish as an air conditioning technician in the shop, where he was working as a part time job.." Mom said.

Before we go to the mall for a shopping, we take our first ride going to a natural park.

"The Pasonanca Park is a natural park. A protected area that preserves a major watershed in the city. The locals used to call it "the little Baguio of the south" Marvin said as he drive for us.

"What a beautiful spot," I said.

We started walking along the pathway. The green scenery and a big tree covered the watershed. I think they taking care of these plants for many years. We take family photos and selfies.

Later on, Marvin and I got the best moment of shot, for the good memories.

"We will head back to my car after a while because I packed a picnic food for us. Until then, we can hike and explore." Marvin said.

"That sounds great. Thank you for bringing me here. I love it." I said.

The cold weather of this month of January is perfect today. Marvin as an Alpha, held my hand, and we walked and talked for the next couple of hours. Sometimes I stop to watch the beautiful butterflies that live in this habitat. Birds that happily chirp in the trees. There are a few benches to sit on and watch the water flow by.

"Why didn't you bring a coat?" he suddenly asked.

"To be honest, I forgot."

"A human wolf can regulate heat in its body. You will be able to do it too once you change." he said.

"Really? That's great. I think it's already starting. What temperature is it today?" I ask. Then Alpha Marvin pulls out his phone and says,

"It's 30 degrees right now."

"Are you sure?" I said, I was a little bit surprised.

"Yep, check it out." He showed me the weather app. So cool! Maybe I can handle sitting outside with him at night after all.

After getting the picnic basket, we found a secluded area under some trees. He lays out the blanket and takes out lots of food for us to enjoy. I am literally starving again. There is fried rice with a boiled egg on top, and sandwiches. Pasta salad, with some fruit, and a green salad.

"Mom, I prepared all of this while I was making breakfast, so I can't take credit for it." Alpha Marvin confesses.

"Well, I will have to thank her. This is all delicious." I said.

Then he pulls out a little chocolate bundt cake. He cuts me a piece and gives it to me. I moan as I take my first bite of the moist goodness. He just stares intently at me. He isn't eating any yet. I put another bite on my fork and presented it to him. He opens for me and takes the bite in his mouth. He chews slowly and then licks his lips. Now I'm staring at his mouth. He looks sexy while eating cake. We continue to share the piece of cake without speaking. Just me giving him a bite and then taking one of my own.

When we finish, he swiftly takes everything, puts it in the basket, and moves it aside. I am sitting cross-legged in the middle of the picnic blanket. He scoots directly in front of me and crosses his legs. Neither of us have spoken yet. He looked deeply into my eyes. Our knees are only an inch apart. This is too close to him. He would usually put at least one foot between us. Feeding him the cake was as close as I had ever gotten to him. His hands are on his knees. I noticed some movement and looked down. His palms are facing up now. He moves his hands closer to me, as if asking for my hands. Is that what he wants? I looked back into his eyes, and he nodded his head.

I'm about to touch his hands for the first time. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I know it won't hurt, but he has made such a big deal about it that I know that he likes it too, and I can feel it.

I slowly lifted my hands towards his. Now they are hovering about an inch above his open palms. Then I looked back into his eyes. I want to see his reaction, when this happens. In a seconds, I gradually lower my hands until I can feel the heat radiating off. I must be a mere millimeter away. Then I do it. I gently lowered my hand until they both touched. At first, I felt that there was too much static electricity that connected us. I took it with a startled breath.

But he encloses his hands around my hands.

I feel the warmth. But something more. Its little twinges of electricity are energizing. It spreads from my hands, up my arms, and then throughout my entire body. We are still intently gazing at each other. We both have a little smile on our lips. Then the energy turns into tingles. Little, tiny pricks everywhere, starting with our hands. Just like electricity. It feels so good. It's warm and soothing, like a hot shower.

His smile widens, and so does me.

We sit like this, experiencing each other's touch for the first time. It's so intimate and powerful as he takes my hand. I get little goosebumps all over. Then his hand moved to my cheek. I couldn't help but close my eyes and lean into his warm palm. I turned my face slightly and kissed his hand. I felt a little shock in my lips.

We are both surprised by this, and I giggle. Then he runs his left hand up to my arm to touch my hair. He played with it for a moment. Then he goes back to holding both of my hands. I feel all the tingles intensifying there... that run throughout my whole body. It's amazing! I love this feeling..

He stands and pulls me up by the hand. He let it go, and I lost all the tingly feelings. But quickly, I feel them again when he pulls me into his chest and lays my head down under his chin. I fit perfectly there... I can feel his heart beating rapidly, when he wrapped me under his sweet embrace.
