THE VISION

"Are you sleepy?" Tagi asks.

"Yeah, do you want something to talk about first before we go to sleep?"

I ask her. She sits on the bed next to me.

"Well, I want to try again what I did before." she said.

"What is it?"

"Remember you gave me a pink dress before as your gift for my 13th birthday?" I grabbed it because I wanted to fold it up and place it in my big box, where it should be. While I'm holding it, I'm thinking of you. Then it was like I was dreaming. I saw a vision; there was a light going down, and then I saw Auntie Solidad driving the car, while Uncle Mike was sitting on the right side. Then I saw an open pocketbook; I think you were holding and reading it. Then my vision stopped when I heard Mom calling me from downstairs." Tagi explained.

"Do you think your ability is to see the future?"

I ask. I hope this thing might encourage her to know her capabilities, if ever. But I want to know more about her supernatural abilities, so I said.

"Try me, hold my hands, and let me know if you see my future with Alpha Marvin."

I asked her. I am hoping that she will try to figure it out. I really want to explain to myself my possessiveness toward Marvin and my future family.

"Ok, but I am not so sure about this. What ever I see in the future, much better if you don't believe me. Because I have no proof"

She said, Then I held my hands in her hands, and then I looked at her. Tagi closes her eyes, and I shall wait for her to talk once she is done. I felt sleepy as I waited for her to speak again. What she did took almost for half an hour.

" Abby Jezz,!' Tagi said.

"What? What was it? What did you see?"

I was shocked when she finally called my name. I felt full of excitement. Then she said,

"You will get married to Alpha Marvin and you will give birth for a beautiful daughter."

"Really?" I replied in shock. My body's vitality suddenly returned. As if I were lying in a garden of roses with Alpha Marvin.

"But I want to ask. What if Alpha Marvin and your daughter's are both on the verge of death? Who will you choose to save?"

She asked me without hesitation and with sadness on her face.

"Are you kidding me? I was not expecting this! Why do you tell me we have a happy ending? but now you ask me that terrible question"

I replied to her.

"My vision is just a dream or something. I don't know. I am just seeing things in advance for the future. But it doesn't make sense. There's no proof for that. Don't mind it. We have an early class tomorrow. It's better to forget what I told you now. Ok?"

She explained. Then she turns off the light and lies down next to me. I don't know if she was going to sleep, but I am not. The vision she said that Mom was driving with Dad on the right side and the pocket novel I was reading are true. Her vision is true. But how about Marvin and I? Our future daughter? How are we able to pass this challenge? More questions come to mind. I need to prepare myself first. but how?

Should I need to tell Marvin?

Since I couldn't sleep while thinking. I decided to leave the room. I go to the kitchen to drink cold water and take a walk outside. I smell every breath of air that passes me. I thought that I would smell Marvin around, and he approached me. But nothing. I felt he was not here, so I think he was busy preparing for tomorrow's class. While walking on the road, it is not on my mind that Tagi goes downstairs and looks for me.

On my walk, I saw something suspicious ahead. I went to see it up close. Until I smelled the horrible stranger again, I memorized it because it was what I smelled the night before.

"Jezz..stop!"

Tagi shouted at my back. I turned to her in surprise because she suddenly spoke behind my back.

Then I heard someone running towards us; it jumped towards the place where Tagi and I were standing. Fortunately, I was able to get away, but Tagi threw up on the other side of the road. Because of the strength of the collision with her.

I had a scar on my elbow and pain in my body because I slipped and fell in the yard. That also caused the destruction of that yard near the road.

When I stood up again, I saw a brown wolf. Its eyes were shining in yellow.

I realized it was as big as Marvin when he turned into a wolf. The wolf turned back while his eyes were on me. Its big mouth opened, like a mad dog salivating for the person it wanted to bite.

"I won't let you hurt one of us."

I said. There is an electricity running through the veins of my body, and the nervousness is overshadowed by anger. self-confidence prevails. I feel like my whole being will explode to deliver the heaviest blow against this wolf. Then I stretch my right arms, close my fingers, and prepare for the attack.

My hunch was right; the wolf ran towards me to crush me with its sharp teeth and claws. I stepped my left foot forward and jumped. I followed its jump to meet while floating in the air, then I gave my full blow with force. For the first time, I gave all my strength to punch the wolf in the head. It hit from the left, and the wolf was thrown to the other side. In that event, I couldn't believe the strength I had. I realized my punch was already too strong. The brown wolf was panting and whining because of what I did, causing it not to stand up alone immediately.

I walked near it to see what it was like, and I wanted to make sure who the person was.

"Besh.. !" Tagi calls me as she walks in pain, going to me.

"Tell me! Why did you attack us?"

I said it in front of the wolf. After a few minutes of waiting for it to finish changing form and return as a normal person, I found out that it was a male wolf. He is now standing in front of me, a tall and handsome guy. He has long, black hair. With an attractive, muscular body. He covered the private parts on the bottom of his body with a leaf and said

"Because of your father, he started this arrear between me and my brother."

"What? May I know what he did to your brother?" I ask.

"He hit my younger brother with a car. The doctor says a bone was broken in his left leg. So, until now, he suffered difficulties even in his transformation." He explained.

"I am asking for forgiveness for what my father committed. But it must have been an accident. I know my father; he drives well on the road." I said.

"I believe it was an accident. But please forgive the negligence, if any. Now we know why you are so angry with us. May we know what you want? "Just for the peace of both of us?" Tagi explained and tried to be calm.

"I will not punish you like the others. This is all I want, because there is only one female in our pack. I want the two of you to be members. You will be in charge of everything, according to the customs and lifestyle of the wolves." He said.

"Until when?"

I replied. I know I can't join their pack because I'm destined to be in Marvin's pack. But for my father's sake, I will try to be strong. If it is a punishment, I need to face it.

"Just for three months."

He said. I was relieved by what he said. I thought it was a life sentence, but it turned out to be only three months.

"Fine, I agree! "Just don't touch my family." I say.

"So, when will we start our registration?" Tagi asks him.

"I will let you know,"

He said. After that, it suddenly left us and ran away. From a distance, it turned into a wolf again while running and disappeared.

"How did you know that he was one of us"? She asked.

"I smelled him before coming here. I know he's watching over me. He hangs around this place sometimes."

"I knew it. He is the one" Tagi says. I was confused.

"What do you mean by "the one"?"

"I saw him in my vision; just give me a little time so that I can figure out on my own that my vision is really true." Tagi explained.

"Do you think I am a monster now? I don't know myself anymore. I never expected the kind of life we have now. I was able to knock him down with my right hand. Where does my strength come from?" I ask her.

"That's a gift. even though we are not pure humans. but I believe that our creator has a reason." Tagi says. I sighed, then we went back inside the house and treated ourselves.
