TO SEE THE TRANSFORMATION OF WOLF

1269 Words
“I stay focus. Visualizing my transformation, and it takes time. For you, patience will be everything.” “Do you rip your clothes?” I asked nervously. He smiled. “A myth. Ready to see it?” My breath caught as I studied him, searching for the first sign of change. The air seemed to tighten, humming with anticipation. I felt like I was standing on the edge of something irreversible. He stepped closer. Then, without warning, he dropped to his knees. The sound that followed? His bones snapping, flesh shifting... that made my stomach twist. His body contorted, muscles expanding, limbs stretching impossibly. Fur burst across his skin. His jaw elongated, teeth sharpening into lethal points. A tail unfurled behind him as his form grew, powerful and terrifying. I couldn’t move. Before me stood a tall black wolf, sunlight glinting off his sleek coat. He was breathtaking... far larger, far more magnificent than I had imagined. Slowly, I reached out, fingers trembling, and brushed his fur. It was impossibly soft, warm beneath my touch. My heart thundered with awe. The wolf circled me, graceful and he is so alert, before settling in front of me. His eyes, lis brown, rimmed faintly with red.. locked onto mine, piercing and intimate. I felt an overwhelming urge to reach inside his mind, to connect, to understand. But the bond wasn’t complete yet. I could only stare, breathless, as silence stretched between us...heavy with unspoken promises. "You are amazing. I love the way you look in your wolf form. Gorgeous." I told him. However, moments later, he undergoes a transformation, reverting to his original human form. The experience leaves him in awe, exclaiming how truly amazing it was "Wow, amazing!" "Thank you. I'm glad you like me in both of my ways" Marvin replied. "How could I not? He is still you, just a little wilder." I said. Then he frowned and asked me suddenly. "You aren't scared of me?" "Not at all. I loved it. I have always had a thing for wolves." I told him honestly. Then we started to walk back toward the house. As we were making our way through the trees, I asked "You said earlier that there is the first queen of werewolves. Do you have any information about her? Like pictures and family backgrounds." "No, that never comes to mind asking, but Mom told me that she was the bravest of all werewolves; she has an unnatural skill that was given to her by the goddess," Marvin said. "Like a power...?" "Yes, according to the story, by that time, there were a few female werewolves, unlike male werewolves, but the queen was forbidden. She was destined to be unmatched. But unexpectedly, she fails; she gets pregnant by an unknown male. Her child was born, but the queen died after 18 years. That's the story I've got," he said. "And how about her child? Is it a boy or a girl?" I asked. "They said it was a boy, but no one has seen him since the queen died." Marvin said. Alright, so this was the family background of a human-wolf. I think it would have been better if she was still alive. What would it feel like to be a werewolf queen? I chuckled, talking to myself. "What is it?" "Uhmm. Nothing. So, is this the reason why you have a forest in your backyard?" I asked. "Yes, that is precisely why. You should feel a sense of calm here. Like it's home to you," "Yes, that's exactly how I feel. I love it out here," I said. "This will all be yours one day." "What do you mean?" I clarified. "Well, I am sort of the leader of our community of werewolves." "The leader... you?" "Yes, I am the leader; they call me "Alpha." I understand the concept. He's the leader. The main man is in-charge, but what does it entail? "Okay, so I will just briefly explain," Marvin added. "My father was the previous Alpha. My mom is Luna. When Dad was killed, I was in-charges to take over the position until I could. But since I was very young by that time, someone's taught me everything I needed to know. His name is "Kwago" He was a little older than Dad. He's very trustworthy, and he would risk his life for anyone in our pack." "So, when did you take over?" I asked. "It took me four years, when I turned 18. But Mom let me focus on my studies first, like what a normal family did. I would have been older, but under the circumstances, I did it after I changed into my wolf. Kwago helps me with things since I work outside of the community. And our pack is so small that I don't need to do as much, as like some other Alphas. There are so many mistakes that I made, wrong moves that harm me, but I still take the position very seriously, Kwago taught me how to show encouragement and to have faith, so I earned a member's respect. So my first responsibility is to take care of my family, and the pack." "So, family means "pack" I like that." I said. I've been interested in his storytelling. "We help and support each other financially and physically. I also sometimes solve disputes. I am in charge of security. I also hold community events. Luna does a lot too. She makes sure everyone is getting the care they need. She sometimes cooks for everyone. She can also act as a mom or grandma to the younger ones. We don't have many, though. She helps the newly mated people, kind of like a counselor. She cares deeply for the pack. That is the best thing about Luna." "And one day, I will become Luna?" I asked nervously. "Yes, you would be. I know that's a huge responsibility. But after getting to know you, I am sure that you are fit for the position. You even plan to be a psychologist. That's an amazing skill for Luna. I'm so proud of your choices, Abby Jezz." He tells me his words make me happy, but I don't know if he's right. Questions play on my mind. Could I really handle all of that? "You don't need to think about all of that yet. It won't happen right away. Mom will teach you what you need to know, and so will I..." he added. That makes me feel a little better, but not much. "What if I'm just not good at it? You may be giving me too much credit, Marvin." I tell him honestly. "Abby Jezz, I don't think you give yourself enough credit. You can handle this whole thing well. You are so mature for your age. You are smart and ambitious. You will make the perfect Luna. I know you will." He encourages me as we go back inside the house. Then we saw everyone in the kitchen talking and laughing. That was a beautiful sight. "Oh, Abby Jezz, we really need to go home and talk to Dad. I don't know exactly how I will tell him, but we need to at least start, step by step, I think!" Mom said. She was so energetic at that moment. This is the first time I saw how happy she was. "Okay, there are also some things I need to tell you. More revelations" I informed her. She looked at me confusingly. "Okay, sweetie, maybe we should talk before we tell your dad?" She suggests. "Yeah, I think so..."
