Chapter 6: Scarlett Family’s Hope

Heart of Legacy city…..

Scarlet Family's mansion….

Tina dragged Adrian from school till the approached the location of the Scarlet Estate, but she didn't seem to stop as she went through the gate.

“Excuse me, coming through…” Tina exclaimed as she passed by many members of the Scarlet house leaving dust in her wake as she dashed with high speed. Most of the passerby saw her and the figure of the person she was dragging along as she ran and they couldn't help but shake their heads in pity for the poor little Adrian. Some others wished their child was the one in Adrian's shoes, if their own sons or daughters could be the little princess' playmate then they will have nothing to worry about in the future as their status in the house will rise as well, but unfortunately not everyone had the same destiny.

Seven minutes later Tina arrived at the gate of the lord’s mansion, not even waiting for the gates to open; she leapt over it with astonishing power, leaving the guards stunned at how flexible her body was.

Tina finally stopped at the space outside the family's building, Adrian was long covered in dust from hair to toe, his handsome face looked like that of a beggar and his hair…. let's not talk about that , his uniform was already done for, and no amount of washing and the washing method used or the washing soap used could savage the situation in which his uniform was in.

“Pftt…” Tina burst into laughter seeing Adrian's beggar-like face and his hair, then looking down at his uniform, a look of pity flashed past her eyes as she had compassion for the clothe, but in the end who is to blame…..?

“Hehe...that was thrilling, I may never get tired of this.” Tina continued laughing heartily till her stomach hurt. Adrian stood there with a helpless and dark look on his face.

He really didn't blame the girl as this was her nature, she was always joyful and cheerful since he knew her, she could be said to be the joy of the entire house, with good looks and a good heart, since his first year in life she has always been with him and she became mischievous and more daring as they grew up, the two of them were siblings and playmates after all, so he had no other choice but to swallow this bitter pill. But she seemed to have gone a bit far today, just look at him..

“This should satisfy you right? My other uniforms are in the laundry all thanks to your mischievous nature, and some of them may not even survive the test of the laundry and here you are planning on making me look worse.” Adrian complained with a bitter face, but Tina's response left him hopeless.

“What's the big deal? Aren't clothes meant to be dirtied? You can wash it later and it's not like you are the one washing it, so why are you making a fuss over nothing?” Tina spoke with a flat tone which also sounded like she was reprimanding him.

Making a fuss?

Clothes are meant to be dirtied?

These thoughts ran through his mind, in the end he let out a helpless sigh with the shake of his head.

Two figures stared at the two kids from a window within the house, one of the figures dressed casually and was standing straight in front of the window, the figure had white beards, and his eyes had the look of one who has withstood and faced the vicissitudes of life, his robust figure covered half of the window, the other person was also of a similar age but he was dressed in a butler's uniform. The two men were the former lord of the Scarlet house, Ethan Scarlet and his Butler.

“The little princess has grown more mischievous, and the suffering young master Adrian has to face seems to have increased also.” The butler commented with a smile.

“Sigh!…Let her enjoy her childhood, I just hope she will always be this happy and carefree in life.” Ethan spoke with a slightly depressed tone.

“But she carries the Scarlet houses hopes on her shoulders, she is the family's one-in-ten thousand years talent, blessed with a sacred body that is rarely seen, with her talent her future is immeasurable and she can't live her carefree life after she grows up, with her talent she can take the house up to the level of a two star force or even higher.” The butler said once more.

“I know all this, but I just don't want my precious granddaughter to carry such a burden.” Ethan said.

“Well worry not my lord, she may look mischievous and playful but she is indeed a strong lady, although young, but she will do well.” The butler spoke once more.

“All these I know, let's just leave it for the future.” Ethan replied

“Yes my lord.” The butler replied and spoke no more.

Ethan continued to look through the window, at the two kids outside as a smile hung on his lips.

“Well let's go in, I can't wait to see grandpa.” Tina said with a cheerful voice as she skipped and hopped into the mansion calling out for her parents and grandparents. Adrian could only move along with his condemned uniform.
