935 Words
— The Proof — At that very moment, realization hit her: he was a werewolf! And he was on the point of killing her. For the second time in 3 days, Judy saw her life flash before her eyes! Her eyes growing wide and horror evident on her face Judy blurted out “ClayItwasClauwhosentMe!” the black haired man stopped on the spot as if he became a statue, even the men holding her down’s grip loosened. Noticing that Judy took that chance to get on her knees. “what...?” the man, his hand in mid-air had a look of surprise and hurt in eyes. “where have you heard that name?” he asked in utter shock, for no one outside the pack members knew this name and it was impossible for this girl to have met him. Since Judy was not answering he rushed towards her an in a matter of seconds was in front of her, holding her by the collar of her clothes he spat out “how do you know that name?” Chocking from his strength and the fact that her feet were not on the ground anymore Judy pat his shoulder and tried to loosen his grip on her but it only made him tighten it more. “please I— I can’t breathe” she managed to say. Seeing she was becoming redder by the second, he put her back on the ground but was still holding her collar. “I am waiting” he added. “it was himself, I met him, he is a grey wolf” Judy explained. “and what makes you think I will believe you?” he asked her, but Judy had predicted it and Clay had before herself so she thought of telling him about the story he had told her in such a situation. “uhm...are you sure you want to hear it in public, with this may people around?” Judy said regaining some colours. “do you really think you have the choice right now?” Clearing her throat, Judy said loud and clear “he told me only he and his brother knows this, so he would be obliged to believe me and we that it is serious if I told him about it. He said when they were kids and Calev would still wet his bed at the age of 7, he would snuggle in his bed because his own would be wet and he didn’t like it. Then they would both make sure the mattress was dried before morning so even their parents didn’t know and it was their little secret” Right after finishing her story, she noticed the man’s ears and face becoming red from embarrassment and this made her know that he was Calev, otherwise, why would he be embarrassed? This made her cover her mouth with her hand, she wanted to laugh but she knew better. She even thought him to be cute, even if he tried to kill her moments ago. Hearing her, Calev was as red as a tomato. He should of listened to her from the beginning it would of saved him from the current shame he was feeling. He was now obliged to believe her, for only he and Clay knew that story but now...every one knew. But this meant so many things such as the fact that his brother was alive and somewhere! Wait! He can still deny it right...? “that—that’s not true!” Calev actually tried to deny but alas, it was already said and done. Even his subordinates were laughing hard at him now. Some were even rolling on the ground! They had some serious file on him now and he didn’t like it! All because of this girl! “ you!” he addressed Judy pointing her out in a menacing tone “this is all your fault!” he approached her and lifted her up again from her clothes. Judy was even worried he would tear them apart. “haha don’t worry Alpha-to-be, we won’t tell anyone” a man said holding his stomach still laughing. The only answer he got was a growl from Calev. He soon dispersed the people around them and went to his car outside of the village. Judy, being carried like a potato sack was moving her legs in every direction “ stop gesticulating or I will s***k you” Calev calmly said to make her stop. Hearing the threat in his voice, Judy unwillingly stopped moving and crossed her arms on his back, pouting. After arriving at the entrance, which was now full with cars of all sorts, it even surprised Judy because she didn’t see any of them when she passed there earlier. Without a word, he threw the girl in his engine and started it. The roaring of the car scared her at first, but she got used to it quickly. He drove off to an unknown direction to Judy, but he knew exactly where he was going, as if he took this path a thousand times already. Judy was relieved and relaxed a bit but was still on her guard, she thought it would be fine from there and things would work out in the end she started asking all sorts of questions but was getting no answers. She clearly was not prepared to would happen when Calev would stop the car and they would arrive at their destination!
