After telling them what have been happening to their own, Judy told them that her mission there was done and that she would be on her way home.

“why don’t you stay the night, it will not be safe for you to take the road as it is getting late” Alpha Calian suggested.

“are you sure?” the girl hesitated.

“you can use one of the empty rooms on the third floor” the Alpha added but Judy was still hesitant, she said she had already wasted a lot of time on this journey, more than she thought and she had to quickly get back to town in order to find who was doing this and free Clay.

“the forest is too dangerous at night, do you think Clay would want anything to happen to you?” Jo asked crossing her arms. “come, I will bring you to the room” she added while getting up.

“Calev, Jordan, stay behind, there are some things I would like to discuss with you, Josephine you too, come back after you show her to the room.”

“Judy let’s go then”

Following Jo to the door, Judy wished a good night sleep to everyone except Calev which amused the Alpha “ha ha! You can’t blame her” he had laughed! But it only irritated his son even more.

“let’s get on with this meeting dad!”.

Following Jo, Judy just remembered she had left her bag in the blonde’s room “Jo can we pass by your room please, I have to take my backpack”

“sure! It’s this way” she replied turning right on the next corridor.

“uhm... That egg, do you know what species it is exactly? Jo ended up asking the question that was disturbing her all this time.” Not really, did you forget I only just got baptised with the supernatural world a couple of days ago “ Judy joked picking up the egg and examining it closely once again. “but you know, I saw the dead bodies of its parents, I couldn’t tell much about it since they looked burnt and also I didn’t get the time to as I was immediately attacked... And all I saw was they had four legs” “do you know?” she added now ready to leave. Closing her door, Jo answered “no, I just know that eggs like that feed on energy to grow, usually, it’s from their parents that’s how they get the same form. It might, its already sure that it is feeding on your energy already, so nobody can tell what will come out, I am just worried it will harm you.” Jo justified on their way to the third floor. Perplexed and amazed at the same time Judy asked “ so you mean I’m it’s mom now? Will it be human then? “ her eyes were already shining at the thought.

“ I doubt it will be, it’s never been heard of” Jo replied.

“alright, here we are, your room for the night”

Standing in front of a detailed wooden door she didn’t know what to do. “oh come on! Stop staring at it and open it! It won’t open itself you know!” Jo complained reaching for the doorknob herself.

Judy was amazed, again! The room was so big, bigger then her entire house back in Owswell.

“wow! Look at the size of this thing!

“ you’re too easily amazed Judy” her friend rolled her eyes at her and going straight for the bathroom “I will check if everything you need is here then I will be on my way OK!”

“check if there are towels please, I didn’t bring any” Judy said remembering the incident today with Calev.

“I don’t think I will need all this anyway so... This room is so beautiful! I can’t believe I will be spending the night in this comfy bed!” she giggled plunging on the bed like a fish in the water.

“you do realize it’s just a guest room” Jo let out after her thorough inspection. “not important” the redhead replied, already drifting off from the softness of the bed.

“ha ha! I will let you savour it then, good night Judy”

“good night to you too Jo” she said with a yarn.

Jo just smiled back a her and closed the door, making her way straight to the Alpha’s office. The night was only beginning for her!
