Siobhan pushed the door to the kitchen with shaky fingers. She just couldn't believe that someone had been willing to stand up for her against Lacey and her bullying. Let alone Lacey's own brother.
"What in Goddesses name did you do to that poor steak you cursed child?" spat out Cook as soon as she saw her walk in to the kitchen with the now dirty inedible steak.
"It was an accident. Lacey didn't like how it was prepared" murmured Siobhan in a dejected tone.
"It seems like that little miss is getting to big for her breeches. Just cause the young Alpha has taken a liking to her she fancies herself our new Luna. My cooking was good enough for both our former and current Luna", cooked said angrily as she began to prepare a new steak for Lacey.
This was the only good thing about Lacey's little tantrums at meal times. By always complaining about the quality of the food brought to her by Siobhan she had completely offended Cook and made an enemy out of her.
Although Siobhan never dared to join Cook's bashing of Lacey; Siobhan was comforted to know that there was someone in the pack who hated Lacey just as much as she did.
After cook was done with the new and improved steak she instructed Siobhan to take it out to Lacey. Fortunately this time Lacey took it without causing a scene. As was the case after one of Lacey's tantrums Cook let her off clean up duty and told her to "get out of t(here) before she made any further messes".
Siobhan figured Cook probably needed time to collect herself after having her food be deemed imperfect by Lacey. If there was one thing Cook prided herself in, it was her ability to whip up a delectable meal. She did not take too kindly to any criticism of her carefully prepared meals.
This meant that for once Siobhan managed to get to her classes on time and didnt get sent to the principal's office. So far this was shaping up to be one of her better days, even with the Lacey mishap.
