Calories. On average most people burn about 15% fewer calories while sleeping, compared with their basal metabolic rate during the day. What that means is that when one stays up all night, they will burn a lot more calories than sleeping especially when you are extremely active. On the first night that Soo-Ha had stayed up all night, he felt uncontrollably hungry once breakfast came around. "T-This...would you like mine." Like an angel descending to bring water in a desert Go Yoojun, offers him some chocolate. Soo-Ha felt so grateful, he vowed to save this boy with every ounce of his ability. For the next few days, he stuffed as much food into his mouth as possible. The rice …. tasted like … rice, but it was good and there wasn't a limit to the amount he could eat. On, the second to last day, he had finally been able to perform the choreography with no mistakes from beginning until the end. Being able to spend the whole night practicing without feeling fatigue had certainly played its role. In addition, he had also managed to level up a few times. [Name: Park Soo-Ha] Level: 8 Title: None Vocal: A- Dance: D Visual: A+ Charm: C Skills: Late Night Degenerate Talent: Unlimited Levelling (Rank EX) Points left for distribution: 2] It was quite the fortuitus situation that there were easy achievements to hit up until now. Rather than distributing the points for right now, he decided to the smart thing and save up for now. "Song Dae-Hyun come grab your badge, you have been promoted to intermediate class The young boy who is excited at the news, heads to the other training room with haste barely paying any regards to his previous comrades. 'How much does that make now?' Soo-Ha questions to himself as he looks at the slowly yet still decreasing population of the novice class. 'I guess that's number 5' There were very few people who could dramatically improve their skills after only a few days of training. Those who were promoted were one of two types of individuals. Firstly, they were either a genius who would experience exponential growth once they got experience from world class trainers. Those were on the rarer side. The second type, were those who were undervalued in the initial audiation and had finally gotten the chance to show their skill. The honest truth was that most would not be able to improve beyond their initial ranking, these are kids that had trained for years and had hit their wall. They were the unfortunate, who never experienced the evolution from, trainee to idol, let alone idol to national superstar. Unlike those who would steadily improve, Soo-Ha planned to explode! He had enough scenes to use, so that when evaluation came, he'd bring a major surprise. Thinking back to the first day he recalls how he was mercilessly scolded by the choreographer Hyung. His looks had once again caused him unfortunate, or should he say fortunate attention. -Again!! -Foot, bend you left foot! -Why are you swinging your arms? Hold them up? What are you a doll? -Concentrate! Thanks to the 'kind' attention paid, the atmosphere in the novice class became heavier and heavier, as if the students were in mourning. At the end of today's practice, Soo-Ha was singled out, and called into the meeting room by the choreographer for a one-on-one lesson. "Soo-Ha" "Yes" "You do know that if you keep performing like this then you won't be anywhere worth mention in the next ranking? "..." Soo-Ha wasn't particularly bad at this class. Rather, this was 'beginner' level, and if Soo-Ha had to be objective he was on the higher end, bordering 'intermediate'. It was at the level where if you were asked to dance at a company get-together, he would have enough skill to stand out. But as always, it was a matter of expectations. Soo-Ha was the highest ranked out of all those in the novice class. Perhaps he was doing this for the broadcast, or maybe the choreographer was serious about his work but he decides to offer heartfelt advice. "Soo-Ha, even if you can't be the best. Act like it. I will tell you, what I once told BangBang – sunbaenims. They aren't the best dancers, hell they barely practice, but they are able to captivate you because they look like they are having fun, they are comfortable in their bodies and confident to commit everything in their performance. So, I'm telling you fix your mindset, and commit! Commit as if you have no fear" "I will try" "Yeah, don't give up" The choreographer nodded his head as a final act of encouragement before he ushers me out. The staff begin organising the cameras, as they leave to set up for the next class as the trainees' head to the cafeteria for lunch. For lunch, there was Bulgogi and seaweed soup and as usual Soo-Ha had stuffed himself to the brim before taking a quick shower. Next, it was time for vocal lessons. And come to think of it.... Soo-Ha had something to confess. Vocal class.... was a breeze.
