Dave's POV I put on my Airpods as I listen to my kind of music. I heard the captain announced over the PA to buckle up and felt the engine's power as it was obvious that we are soon taking off. This is going to be a long flight, I told myself and closed my eyes.  Suddenly, I heard footsteps rushing and and FA was helping a lady seat on the vacant couch beside mine. Despite the rush, the passenger looks quite amazed and was in great awe as she admires the plane. She looks kind of haggard as she placed her hand carry on the floor her shirt is wet and she is a mess. I observed her peculiar movements. Then, she abruptly faced at my direction and to my disbelief...yes, I cannot believe what I am seeing. I know my eyes turned wide and I can't help myself. It was Candy! She shyly looked away, fastened her seatbelt and closed her eyes.  I tossed and turned the entire time really not knowing what to do. Why is she here? Is she on a vacation? Seriously?  I secretly peeped at her and it seems that she fell asleep. Then I saw the fasten seatbelt sign is turned of and heard the FA's footsteps coming close. "Oh, she fell asleep." She said. I pretended to be a bit nonchalant but could not contain my curiosity. "Is something wrong? I asked. "I apologize, sir. I will just wake her so she can transfer to her designated area." "Can't you see she's asleep?" I said sounding authoritative.  "Is this how you treat your passengers?"  The FA was shocked about what I said.  "I'm sorry, sir but..." "What you're about to do will disturb us all here. Better to let her sleep first then let her transfer when she wakes up. It's your fault for letting her sit here in the first place. Can't you see how tired she looks?" The FA could not say a word especially when the other passengers start to look around. She just went away looking scared about the situation. I turned off the overhead light so we can relax and get a good night sleep.  I pulled out the blanket and secretly put on Candy. She looks really tired and stressed. Then I closed my eyes.  I woke up after a few hours. I heard the food trolley being pushed towards my direction. The FA's are about to serve the meals. I looked at Candy who is still sleeping soundly and smiled to myself. The FA turned on the overhead light and Candy woke up.  "Oh, I'm sorry." She spoke and hurriedly grabbed her hand carry to walk away.  Then at that instance, I grabbed her wrist and signaled her to stay put. She looked surprise at my gesture and could not move.  "Miss, I think this passenger needs to stay." The FA and Candy both looked astonished.  "You see, it's your fault to make her walk here when the plane was about to take off. What could possibly happen if she hasn't fasten herself during take off? She could have sued you? The best way to settle this is to let her stay here and enjoy the perks in the First Class." Then I whispered to the FA with a smile. "You see, I'm a lawyer.   The FA nodded and served us our meals. I looked at Candy and winked.  Candy's POV I opened my eyes and saw the time. It is 2:30 am. I hurriedly grabbed my bag to stand in embarrassment. Just when I was about to stand, the man beside me, grabbed my wrist and signaled me to sit.   I don't know why I followed him. He started speaking with full authority and confidence. I can't help but admire his confidence and convincing power. He looks more handsome and admirable when he talk. I wonder who this man is. He looks familiar. I must have seen him from somewhere or is he a celebrity?  Then he looked at me with a wink as the FA started to serve our meals and seemed to have no other choice but to follow what this man told her. I wonder why he helped me. "Uhmm...thanks for speaking up for me. You see...I can really transfer to the economy class." I spoke.  He looked surprise when I suddenly spoke to him. "Well, it's a long flight and I have no one to talk to...so I think it's best for you to stay." He said with a smile.  He flashed his toothpaste commercial kind of smile and my jaw seemed to have dropped. It's just hard to find the right words to say.  "Oh, thanks by the way. Sorry for the hassle." I stupidly replied. I felt tough-tied. I honestly don't know what to say. So I looked at the window and saw a reflection of myself. My hair were tangled, my shirt is crumpled and dirty...I am a total mess seated beside a celebrity-looking man. I felt more self-conscious as I tied my hair up, wiped my face and straighten my shirt. I also zipped my jacket to hide the mess before I looked back at him.  "I'm Dave." He said as he handed a business card.  I took it and pretended to be uninterested. "I'm Candy." I said as I handed my hand to shake his. He shook it back. I hope that this will be a pleasant ride.
