I stood stiffly outside the healing chamber, my hands clenched into shaking fists. My head pounded as Charlotte's scent reached me, warm and inviting, accompanied by Alexander's overwhelming dominance. It crushed the air around me, leaving barely enough space to breathe.
Every sound behind those heavy doors taunted me—small shifting movements, the faint rustle of blankets. Her scent swirled closer, unmistakable, mixing with his, and it drove me mad.
