"Katherine! Wait!" I heard Axel's voice from behind me. He was chasing after me but I ignored him. When he caught up to me, he hugged me tightly. "Please listen to me. I'll explain everything to you," he pleaded.
I struggled to break free from his tight embrace. But Axel seemed to have no intention of letting me go and only tightened his grip on me.
"Let me go," I said in a soft voice. But there was emphasis in every word.
