"What's wrong, AB? Why do you keep looking at your watch?" Lucas noticed when he saw me glance at my wristwatch again.
"Katherine hasn't returned yet. I'm worried about her." Almost twenty minutes had passed since Katherine excused herself to go to the bathroombut she still wasn't back until now.
"C'mon, bro. She's on my turf. No one would dare to harm her. Unless they don't know Katherine's connection to us and they want to die early," Lucas replied.
I tried calling Katherine's cell phone but I couldn't reach her. After calling her three times and still not getting through, I decided to follow her to the bathroom.
"Katherine? Are you still inside?" I knocked three times. I started to panic when no one answered my fourth call. The door was locked so I just kicked it to open.
