"What happened to your face, Katherine? Who hurt you? And why are your clothes soaking wet?" Axel asked in succession when he saw my looks as I entered the house. I didn't expect him to be home already so I didn't bother to fix myself before coming home. I thought he was at the Fords' house with Cristia.
"Lucy and Monika kidnapped me. But I managed to escape. So I immediately called the police and had them arrested. They're both in jail now," I answered him with a serious expression. Even though he looked very worried about me, it didn't diminish the jealousy I felt earlier.
"Damn those women," he said, gnashing his teeth. He turned his back to me and took out the cell phone from his pants pocket. While he was talking on the cell phone, I quickly went into my room.
