"Katherine, Miss Ford is calling for you." I looked up from my laptop towards Pia, who had approached me and spoken to me.
"Why?" I frowned. What could she possibly need from me? She had never summoned me to her office before. Besides, she has no right to order me around.
"I don't know." Pia shrugged. "But one thing is sure, she's not in a good mood today."
I took a deep breath before standing up and heading to Cristia's office. I knocked three times on her office door. I waited for three minutes for her to say "come in," but I didn't hear any response from her. Annoyed, I just opened the door and went inside.
