BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! WARNING! WARNING! INSTABILITY DETECTED! A loud voice boomed in the background. A middle aged man could be seen running frantically within a white room containing a pod filled with strange liquid and a sophisticated futuristic looking machine. Within the pod, floating within the liquid was a handsome well sculpted young man in his early twenties whose eyelids were tightly shut. He was clad in nothing but white boxers that matched the color of the room he was in. The middle aged man who was at the controls and wearing a white lab coat and expensive looking glasses spoke with a sense of urgency to a microphone connected to the next room,"Quick! Increase the dose of the adaptive nanobots,"When he saw the mysterious person hesitating, he shouted "NOW!” while simultaneously keying in commands rapidly such that his fingers seemed blurred. Suddenly a hissing sound was heard as a syringe containing black fluid was injected into the lower back of the handsome man in the pod. The eyes of the man suddenly opened with a blue glow which disappeared as quickly as it appeared and he opened his mouth in a silent scream. One would think that the man in the lab coat would relax upon seeing the man awaken but instead he increased his typing pace on the keyboard. After a few seconds the man in the pod relaxed again and the loud sirens stopped. PROCEDURE SUCCESSFUL! Sounded the mechanical voice, after which the door to the room clicked open with a hiss and a well-endowed ebony young beauty walked in, also donning a white lab coat. “Phew, that was close, dad. For a moment I thought that it was going to be a failure just like the rest.” George, the person addressed, took off his glasses from the bridge of his nose revealing blue-grey pupils and wiped them with his handkerchief."Indeed at some point even I was not certain of the outcome, but I had an intuition that this time we would succeed. With the success of this project, we will bring about a revolution of technology on a global scale.” Both of them laugh lightly and walk out of the room. Little did they notice the movement of the index finger on the man resting in the pod. After an unknown period of time the man who was previously resting peacefully suddenly opened his eyes which are revealed to be dark brown and as if in response to him waking up, the fluid rapidly drained and the pod opened automatically."Where…what am I?” he asks as he squints his eyes. He then began to examine his hands as though he would find the answers he was looking for there. He looked around the room and drank in the surroundings. He saw a plain looking room with a monotonous milky white color and a console. He attempted to think to determine how he got here but all he could get from his memory were two voices conversing and one of them drew his attention for it was soothing and he felt that he could not get enough of it. In the state that he was in, confused as he was, all he wanted was to meet the owner of this voice. He then struggles to stand up to explore and possibly find a way to leave when he is assaulted by a huge influx of information. Then a voice echoes in his head 'WELCOME JOHN, MODEL AMSTUON-2100,FIRST OF YOUR KIND.MODELLED WITH REAL HUMAN TISSUE COMBINED WITH CUTTING EDGE ADVANCEMENTS IN NANOTECHNOLOGY YOU HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO POSSESS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.’ The now named John is startled and questions the inner voice “Where am I? How do I get out of here?” Instead of answering him, the voice begins a monologue, ’IT SEEMS AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED DURING THE DATA TRANSFER STAGE AND SUBJECT MATURITY HAS STOPPED AT 10 YEARS.MORE TIME IS NECESSARY TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE FOR OPTIMAL OPERATION.DURATION 2 YEARS,PERCENTAGE 30%’ and then the voice went silent. John shouted and begged the voice to come back but finds it a futile endeavor. He stood up shakily and walked to the console and he found that it was surprisingly easy to learn what each control did, in fact, it was so basic to him he felt that he could even improve the design to maximize its efficiency. Knowledge that he did not know he possessed flowed into his head and at that point it was as if he had designed and operated this technology for years. 'CURIOSITY UNLOCKED PERCENTAGE PROGRESS 35%’ the emotionless inner voice intoned. This time he tries to concentrate and communicate with the voice but his efforts go unrewarded. He pressed a button on the console and the door opens with a slight hiss. He turns his gaze and looks at the opening, lost in his thoughts with none the wiser on what he was thinking.
