She was beautiful. She was pure. I watched as she slept on the couch, waiting patiently for her to wake up. What attracted me to her? Why was I so enraptured by her? She was a simple human with no power. Something in her past must have needed to be hidden. Why?
I glanced over to the red vial next to me. This would restore her memories slowly. Maybe it will answer both of our questions. Why did those witches want to keep her in the dark? It made no sense. It wasn't like she was a demon, a vampire, a werewolf, a siren, or any other mythical creature. Was her past so damaged that they are hiding it from her to spare her?
