***Lanie's POV***
Something felt off. I couldn't quite pinpoint it as I was closing up the restaurant. Sophia was probably resting in her home but I did plan to visit after seeing Mother.
The soft jingle of the door was a familiar sound as I locked up the facility. The day was absolutely beautiful and warm that I couldn't help but crack a small smile towards it.
"I'll visit mother first and make sure our spell was successful and then visit Sophia in case I need to administer more soul chains." I thought to myself as I went into the woods towards my mother's house.
