“Do you want to come with me to see Alaina after I get changed?” I asked Jayson. We both just got back from work. I can’t believe it has been six weeks. Alaina gets her casts off and she’ll have some of her braces removed or shortened to the areas that still need to be braced a while longer. “Yeah, do you mind if I shower quick first?” “Go ahead. Meet you back here in let’s say twenty minutes.” Jayson nodded.
I made my way to our bedroom. I grabbed some dark blue jeans and a red polo shirt. I took a quick shower too and put my clean clothes on. I can’t wait to see if her bones have healed enough.
