The Alpha's Abused Royal Mate

Luca's Mate

                                       ****************** Alpha Luca's POV **************************

      "Hurry up Samuel or we are going to be late to this new school of ours," I growled already annoyed at the idea of going to school. 

         "Jeez, calm down i'm coming. Gosh always so snappy," snickered Samuel with a grin that made me want to punch him in the face and break his nose. 

           It was already 8:40 AM and I somewhat wanted to arrive to school early. In reality the reason to arrive so early was proposed by Axel because he wanted to see how the school's surroundings where in case of any emergency. I thought it was a good idea to wake up early so I decided to enter my bathroom which was inside my room and take a fast shower. afterwards I changed into a really thin stripped red shirt and ripped dark blue jeans  and white air forces which is my casual everyday fit.  My stomach grumbled when I thought about food at the pack house but the Omegas at the pack house tried teaching me how to cook but I failed miserably at their culinary lessons so they just taught me how to make fried eggs and bacon. After I left my room I headed over to the kitchen which wasn't that small or shabby and made me and Samuel breakfast, we ate in a peaceful and comfortable silence.

  "Um Luca I think its time to go now", stated Axel in an almost concerned and parental tone. 

   "Okay"

 I grabbed my keys and backpack and told Mule to hurry up. After five minutes of waiting  outside in the car I got tired and that's when I started mind linking him to hurry up which leads us to the present.

 "Ok you ready, dork"

 "When are you gonna stop calling me that", he asked while getting in the car.

  "When you stop acting like one"

 "Uh it's been three years but whatever, just get me to school please", he said while rolling his eyes. 

After arriving to school me and my wolf got this insane scent. It was of Vanilla and Axel started yipping in my head telling me mate is here. I was so happy I could get shot with a silver bullet and probably not feel any pain from the adrenaline rush. I temporarily left Samuel at the parking lot to fend for himself I don't think he would mind because he was already crowded with a group of hot she wolves. There where so many that I had to squeeze my way out of their little circle. I mean they where after both of us sensing our wolfs power and rank, but I growled at them to move away and that is what they immediately did.. After I got to the double doors I got a big hit in the face by Mates smell. She was in the other end of the long hallway but she couldn't sense me. Axel whined but soon his sadness turned to pure anger when he saw when another she-wolf screamed and even insulted, hit and punched mate while slamming her back to the lockers. I heard my mates cry and soon enough I found my feet running to her. There she laid without fighting the b***h back and all I saw was red. What got me most angry was the fact that the b***h had a group of friends helping her hurt mate, as soon as I reached them Axel took over with my eyes all black and claws coming out he growled in a way that even the strongest wolf would cower down to and threw all the she-wolfs back making sure he threw them hard enough for them to feel pain. I guess everyone else sensed my power because everyone in the hall turned to me and bowed right away.

 "Yeah you better bow, weak mutts", growled Axel before I blocked him to tend to mate.

"Mate", was the first thing she said to us when she looked us in the eye and I already knew I had a gotten hard. 

 "DUMB HUMAN GET MATE OFF OF THE FLOOR NOW!!!!"

  "Oh right", I internally laughed to lighten up his mood but it was of no avail.

 I picked her up but Axel caught me off guard and took over. He possessively growled at her and said, MINE. 

 After our words registered in her mind she started sobbing and squeezing the air out of me. I didn't mind though so I tried to hug her back but when I saw that my natural instincts wanted to be closer to her, I picked her up while her legs clung to my waist like a Koala bear. 

 Axel began thrashing around my mind wanting to kill the other she-wolfs for having mate in this state. I then remembered what mother said, "In times of desperation or anxiety hug your mate and breathe in there scent and all your worries will fade.  So that is exactly what I did and we where right she smelled sweet like vanilla and it not just calmed me and Axel down but her too. 

 "Finally", I whispered but she didn't hear me. 

 We stared at each other and she was the most beautiful person I have ever met. She had big hazel eyes that resembled gold, small pink lips and the most adorable small button nose, she had thick light brown wavy hair that reached her waist and the most seductive and sexy curvy body. She wasn't that tall she was about 5'3. 

She didn't seem like most girls, she doesn't seem to walk with pride or revealing clothing she seems to have a low self-esteem. And no I am not judging I was observing from how she looked up at me.  The sparks I got from when her arm brushed up on mine was crazy. It was enough to almost throw me over the edge. If it wasn't because we had an audience I would of took her right then and there. 

 I silently thanked the Moon Goddess when the bell rang and I remembered that I had gotten my schedule emailed on my phone yesterday. I am thankful that Samuel made me write it down on a piece of paper to take around school. Then realization hit me, I had to leave mate. Axel whimpered and I might have too but I put on my strong facade and asked her what class she had.

 "I have Geometry with Mr. Lower", she said while looking up at me with a small smile that did not reach her eyes at all. 

"Aw mate looks sad, comfort her you imbecile"

 "I have my schedule here. Lets see what I have". I said trying to distract her from her sad thoughts.

 "I guess we have first period together", I said with the hugest grin ever. Even Axel stopped all of his crying and whining.

"We also have second period together", she said while smiling excitedly but this time it seemed genuine and it reached her eyes.

I latched on to her hand which had a small bruise forming from earlier's incident and kissed the back of it. 

Um I might have to put her down I thought to myself because I was not trying to get me and her in trouble for PDA on my first day of school here. After I kissed her hand and put her back down she blushed and tried to hide it from me and I swear I almost melted right there.

"Mate is so cute"

"Yeah she is isn't she"

I held my hand out to her and she actually took it! she has such small hands which are so soft and gentle I fear they might break if I hold on them too hard but she takes me to our first class which was actually right next door and tries to sit me ALPHA LUCA in the back row of the class. I scoffed at that and rose my eyebrow at her and shot her a look like "what do you think your doing?" I then remembered that she couldn't read my mind..... yet so I said out loud "If you want to learn the material you have to sit in front without any distractions". I then pushed two kids out of their desks and told them this was me and my mate's seat.

 "Like if you have ever cared about school! and don't forget that WE as in you and me had a little group at school and we always sat in the back row in a corner"

 "Shut up Mutt, I don't care about any of my past. I want my mate to be able to understand her school work and I want to help her so WE as in me/you and her will be sitting in the front row now". 

 My conversation with this i***t was interrupted by no other than my new teacher. I grunted because I seem to always get interrupted while I talk to my wolf and it is agitating, but Mr. Lower wanted me to introduce myself and that is what I did. After I was finished I sat back down only to notice everyone including mate with eyes as big as Dumbo the elephant's ears. I went closer to mate and told her that she might want to "close her pretty  mouth of hers, princess mate before any flies go in there or something much big-. I caught myself before she heard me and was relieved at her sudden lack of super hearing. 

 "I um......thanks", was all she said. She didn't even look at me but seemed flustered it was amusing to say the least.

 "Hey.....um m-mate I mean Luca I forgot to tell you my name"

I was so happy now and she was bright tomato red.

"I thought you would never tell me" I said while giving her a big toothy grin. 

 "Okay.......my name is Emma Heart and I turned eighteen not too long ago and I was the former future Luna of this pack before the Rouge attack and my Aunt took over my pack 'Golden Moon'', she said in a sad tone. 

I complimented her trying to get her to give me one of her beautiful smiles once again while holding both of her hands and rubbing circles with my thumb. 

 Soon first and second period where over which meant I had two more classes to go but without her. We met up at lunch and we chatted a bit but I feel as though we never get enough time together. I even mind linked Samuel to not come to the table I was at and that I would explain everything once we headed to the apartment. After lunch was over every girl in the school was watching me with lustful eyes and looking at my beautiful mate Emma with jealousy. I smiled down at her while lifting her chin up so she could walk without looking like a scared push over.  Axel and I knew that she was hiding something because she never allowed her face to be shined down by the light for more than a split second before cowering back to looking and walking while staring at the floor. I walked with Emma to her last two classes while I got to class a little late but not really. My alpha aura made people not want to talk or face to me including the teachers which I was fine with. The last two classes went slower than molasses. After school ended I waited by her fourth period door and we walked to the parking lot while getting to know each other. We stopped as we reached her bus but kept talking.

"Okay well I guess I will see you tomorrow then? 

"Yeah, totally um where are you staying at?, I asked knowing well what she was most likely gonna say. 

"Oh I live at the pack house with my Alpha and Luna"

Ask her for her number, Luca! Axel said while getting irritated by my sudden lack of boldness.

"Can I have your number?, I asked while not helping to blush a little.

"Sorry but I don't have a number or a phone and I don't even know how to use one"

 "It's fine, just be ready tomorrow at 8:50 AM so we can go to school together"

"Okay" was all she said while she reached up to me and held my shoulders for support while she kissed my cheek.

 I found it hilarious when her eyes widened and she started rambling on how wrong of her that was and that it was inappropriate.

 I don't know why but I felt the urge to stop her from talking and kiss her so I leaned down and cupped her small delicate face. But as soon as I did she yelped and cried in pain which I knew I hadn't caused so me and Axel knew there really was something that she wasn't telling us. I grabbed both of her arms inspecting them then I looked at her legs but when I saw her face and noticed the red marks resembling the shape of a large hand I was upset I even started shaking and growing red from anger and I let Axel take over. 

 As soon as I was in the back of Axel's mind I saw how loud he growled his eyes as black as I have ever seen them.  Mate tried to act like nothing happened to her and that she was okay but Axel didn't even let her finish her sentence before asking her in his deep voice, Who did this to you? Emma didn't even answer she just kept a blank expression and walked inside her school bus to go home.

 "Samuel meet me at my car, NOW, I said through mind link"

After Samuel arrived to the car he got in and went to speak while searching through his bag but I cut him off. 

 "Hey Luc-", I immediately growled at him loudly so he could look up and see that it wasn't Luca.

  "Oh sorry Alpha. But hey Alpha Axel how was school? he asked as if he couldn't sense my anger and annoyance.

 "We need to talk" was all I said before turning the ignition and driving home.

  ************************** Once they arrived to the apartment Axels POV **************************

 Before we even made it to my office I began

  "Okay Pup", do you know why Luca asked you not to get close to us while we where at school?, I asked

 "No, not really. But he said that he would explain once school ended".

"Well we found our Mate and your Luna"

 "WHAT!" Congratulations Bro-, I growled stopping him from finishing his sentence.

"I mean Alpha", he said while smiling awkwardly.

 I smiled at him and told him that there was a problem. He immediately stopped smiling and pressed his lips into a thin line.

Is Luna in danger? he asked with sadness and fear written all over his face. 

I will say me and Luca where very happy at this reaction because our Beta and best friend has already grown a liking to our mate. Making him protective of her which is good. But watch him step over his boundaries and I will slit his throat. 

 "I think she is", This time I was the one putting a sad expression on my face. 

 "Don't worry Alpha Axel, we will help her from whatever danger she is in".

 "Thanks pup, now this weekend I will ask her to come over so I need you to please be on your best behavior".

   Or what? he asked testing my authority with a mischievous smile.

 "I will punish you and put you on a silver collar", I said nonchalantly.

   "Okay..okay..okayy. chill Alpha I was only kidding", he said while going into the living room with his imaginary tail between his legs.

 And with that Axel finally switched places with Luca after about an hour of him controlling Luca's body. 

    Luca then mind linked Samuel to cook dinner for him which he obediently did since that is his Alpha after all and he knew he was the one to always cook dinner since Luca is complete dog s**t at it. Samuel decided on making Italian spaghetti and meatballs and they both ate their dinner while Luca talked about his mate to his best friend which was listening proudly while seeing his happiness talking about her. He hoped he could meet his mate some day too. 

 After about an hour later they both showered in their separate bathrooms obviously and went to bed.  Luca slept peacefully and happy for the first time in a few months. He now was able to protect his mate and be with her. That night he slept with a smile on his face, knowing that he has found his packs Luna.
